If its just a like a small to moderate subscription, then I don't really see what fuss is all about. Of course someone spending thousands of dollars on porn within a small time frame is both ridiculous and troubling but I doubt that is the norm.

I think people just find the prospect of sex work at an industrial scale very confronting. The outrage is way overblown. There is a demand for cheap sluts. Deal with it.

How do you know this to be the case? Did you ask her (along with a decent sample size of other Only fans girls) to confirm if this is actually the case?

Asking because it helps to separate genuine realizations vs. simply passing judgement/having contempt for a particular segment of society. Assumptions matter.

This seems to have touched a nerve for you that is more personalized than it is.

To me, it seems pretty evident that someone who's on OnlyFans wouldn't really care too much about their audience.

When you're an attractive woman who gets a lot of sexual attention from men, you experience many men trying to use you for status and pleasure.

I experienced this frequently just existing when I was in my early 20s and was proximal to the beauty standard. And it did create a kind of contempt at that sort of treatment because so many people behaved vampirically towards me.

And I can only imagine that someone who's a popular OnlyFans model (or sex worker in general) would probably feel very negatively towards the audience... because the audience is being objectifying, and she probably experiences objectification pretty often just being a young attractive woman.

So, it's not surprising to me that OF models would feel some contempt towards her patrons as they're only valuing her as a source of sexual gratification.

So, she probably feels equally okay with using the people who see her as a source of sexual gratification as purely a digit in her bank account.

In my mind, that's fair enough given the transactional nature of that industry. People get back what they give out.

Using someone for money and using someone in an interaction that is just part of how the world works are completely different things. An OnlyFans girls is a complete sociopath, a guy who sleeps with girls without having emotions for them isn't even guilty of anything. You just need to compare the number of options the girls who sleep with the unfeeling guy had VS how lonely the guys who use onlyfans are.

These men are simping and throwing money at internet stars, nobody is putting a gun to their head forcing them to do it. There is a market for this content and these women are filling a demand. There's no good or bad about it, it's just human nature.   Men often gamble on sports and lose a lot of money doing it also. Humans do all sorts of things where the math and science don't work out in their favor out of addictive animalistic cravings and desires.  Gambling is a big one... unless you're a card counter or extremely good at sports knowledge, gambling statistically the house will always win, and if you win too much they'll just throw you out of the casino. If you win too much you have to pay taxes on it.  Those things don't get built by people winning.  Gambling is a terrible waste of money. Throwing money at online women thinking you have a shot at a relationship if you simp hard enough is an incredible waste of money also. It won't stop people from doing it.

Do we moral judge them and ban everything we think is bad for them? That's ultimately the societal/cultural question. Some nations do, some don't. Ones that do, often you have black markets anyways.  Best to accept human nature and let people learn from their mistakes, without rewarding their mistakes with handouts when they do dumb things.

Anyone who runs a successful business will see their customers as just numbers at least to a certain extent. An OF porn start isn't unique in this.

Sex isn't a purely emotional intimate act and I don't see any evidence that deviation from that expectation should be seen as inherently deviant. Its a dirty job but who cares?
