I am different.

People always tell me I am "different"

People have tried to call me "autistic", but other people have pointed out that I don't fit into that category either.

Once, I was almost assessed by professionals, because they thought they had discovered someone so unique, that they couldn't box me into any form of mental illness. 

I don't know what to do about this. Perhaps I am "special", like my parents told me when I was six?

And when they said that, I said: "everyone is special"...but they insisted that I was extra special, like an anomaly in the universe.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do about this.

Don't call yourself or other people autistic, unless there is a clear professional diagnoses.

You should def get yourself professionally assessed for autism.
