should you focus on dating or career?

So i'm a 23 year old male and i come from a VERY underprivelliged background which has led to many challenges. Most of my younger years were focused on mailny money and survival stuff rather than dating and relationships. I live with my parents and now i'm mainly focused on my online buisiness and building something great .

 

I'm really just wrting the post to see if dating is really worth it or if it would make more sense to focus on my career rather than try and date the opposite sex. Especially when everyone says that relationships are one of the most meaningfull aspects of life. However i find that for me it would make much more sense to put dating to the side and focus on growing my buisiness.

 

Even tho this leads to lots of lonliness and isolation i find that i must find ways to deal with this and since i no longer watch pornography [i'm 2 weeks clean] i use all of the built up sexual tension by practicing nofap and semen retention and direct it into my work and just try to be an overall productive person. This definetly helps but the feeling of lonliness never goes away. 

 

This led me to wonder if it is even possible to be happy single without dating and experiencing romantic relations and just focus on the work or the other way around.

For men I would say dating. For most us a love life won't just fall into place naturally, it will take effort. You can always figure something out career wise, if you are able bodied and have basic intelligence.

If you've come from an underprivileged background, then I'd say getting your online business up and running should be first priority. Pay your bills, get some security in the world, get independence from your family.

After you've done that, I'd move to a major city where you can really focus on dating. If you are in the US, I'd recommend Las Vegas, Miami, LA, New York, Austin or Dallas. 

These are the prime years of your dating life and you really don't want to just waste them.

And yes, until you build your business and start dating you will probably be lonely. Use that as motivation. Focus on the reward of getting out of your parent's house and finally being able to explore that side of your life.

yea after trying to figure stuff out this seems to be the best approach right now so i'm gonna give this everything i've got.

You can do both. But mainly focus on dating when you are young. It’s easier to focus on money when you get older.

I'd focus on career because it's something you can control and advance within. If women come, then they come, it's whatever.

Ultimately it's better to focus on something you can control rather than something you can't (if some random woman likes you).

yea i agree it seems like i'll just have to deal with that sort of lonley feeling but at least it won't be for nothing.

I suggest just being open to dating if you come across a woman you're interested in. If you can find semi-social activities you like to do, you can potentially find a great girl or great friends that might have a great girl in their social circle. Great relationships can energize and empower you.
