Forgetting higher consciousness

32 posts in this topic

I've gone up to 5 tabs in silent darkness, extreme levels of consciousness, I've said to myself out loud multiple times that yes this is definitely higher consciousness, yet somehow my baseline self still even kinda doubts there is such a thing

Like right now I can't imagine what it's like to be more conscious, and I believe it even works the other way around, that during the peak it's like I've always been that conscious and I can't conceive of lower consciousness

In latest trips during the peak it even feels like God lowers my consciousness then brings it back up etc to show me the contrast, I lack that contrast, I lack experience ultimately

No space, no time, nothing but you/this/here/now

@Loveeee Maybe don't look at it as higher or lower but lighter and darker. Try to see if that works.

Yo, stop talking, Stop. İt is You, it is THE NOW.

There is no latest trip, past, future or god. IT IS NOW!

Like a spectrum between fear and love

@Loveeee Sure but not in the programmed sense of fear and love. If you love 'dark' things they can be light. More of a life accepting you over not kind of light and dark.

I know. This is what spirituality is about brother. Make a mistake, fall in the trap, fall, fall and fall. Because, it is not above, it is belove. Fall till (only) Nothing left.

That's because the space and time is the "you". Take the "you" out and it's just this. No you - no space, no time which is what thought is.

Yes! Forgetting is a crucial function of consciousness. You literally forget you are God or what that even means. Appreciate the power of existential forgetting!

This feature is not stressed enough by teachers because they don't even understand how deep the forgetting goes. It's like you forgot everything to become human.

İf you forgot that you are a human too? Such as there is no knowledge whatsoever?

Forgetting and remembering yourself.

What forgotten is Omniscience.

So here you are, acting like you know nothing.

@Leo Gura A while back you framed unity and division as the engine that runs reality.

This is of course still true.

But forgetfulness and remembrance may be a deeper engine (or maybe the same engine with a more accurate label)

As in - forgetfulness and remembrance is not something that Consciousness is doing; rather, forgetfulness and remembrance IS Consciousness, IS substrate. To forget IS to architect and mold this present moment from scratch out of yourself, and then to deny what just happened. But this denial is the key necessary ingredient for any of this to be possible. The fluxing polarity of forgetfulness vs remembrance explains everything; IS everything.

Omniscience = knowing so thoroughly the Absolute nature of your shape-shifting Will, that in an impossible maneuver, you grok the infinite necessity of unlearning your Absolute nature, and then Willing it to be so, as you slowly slip into an ignorant slumber... thus losing your Omniscience... but this is all according to Omniscience! i.e. Omniscience KNOWS that it must not-know, and thus KNOWINGLY un-knows, rendering itself ignorant. But it KNOWS this Absolutely, despite genuinely becoming ignorant. Wtf. My head hurts.

I'm also hyper aware that I'm laughably not awake as I'm typing all of this.

Eager to go deeper and discover more...

Then what function of consciousness cause God to always remember itself eventually, and not spiral into infinite forgetfulness forever?

Truth is ever present. You are blocking it. It is you who are doing it. One day you can decide just as easily not to do it. This is spiritual practice. Truth is forever. Falsehood cannot be forever. Else it will be truth. The false is nothing more than a temporary illusion. Only truth exists.

And why is that so hard to know, while other aspects of Consciousness such as Love and Invincibility are easier to verify?

If it can happen, shouldn't it have happened by now, considering consciousness has existed for an infinite amount of time already?

Doesn't the possibility of infinite forgetfulness throw out all of your conceptions of Goodness and Consciousness, since it means God can permanently lose aspects of itself? That means those aspects are impermanent, and isn't an impermanent attribute of God not an attribute at all? How can you claim that God holds/is attributes like Goodness, Love, Omniscience etc. but also simultaneously claim the possibility of God losing these attributes forever?

I agree, but my question is whether that blocking can be permanent since God has infinite possibilities. Have you ever done Salvia? It can block truth and clarity to an absolutely insane degree.

Death of the ego? The person? The body? Death of what? Also I guess death isn't final for something else to happen along with death. How is it death when something else is happening along with it. Is death the end? And end of what?
