Yes, totally.

There’s many things they can do only when drunk. That’s the irony of Finns’ higher psychological development.

We need to do that too.  They are talking about putting labels on alcohol now..

This literally just happened in the past hour, such a tragedy this is. It was carrying a Pediatric patient.

Upon further introspection and reminding myself, it comes down to shyness. Social shyness.

Finns are some of the most reserved and shy socially. Alcohol relaxes them. Alot. I wouldn’t be surprised if we are one of the heaviest drinkers - and thus, all these laws to regulate drinking.

So maybe Leo is onto something lol.

It’s hard to get them to trust and open upto you initially but once you do, it’s game on. Think of the opposite of Spanish and latin people.

In a way, if you learn to handle socializing here, everywhere else in the world will be a cheat code.

Cold approaching people here, you will need to carry the convo initially way more than elsewhere. But also, there’s virtually no competition. In the pickup community, they say Finland is full of beautiful blondes, without any men.

And I guess I’ve taken that for granted - but yes, I guess that’s been my experience too. Hard to know when I don’t have anything to compare to.
