That would just be another object.  It may or may not match your expectations.    And it would very for the individual.  Some people see the Musk salute as fascist whereas others see him pointing towards Mars.

Again, calling him a Nazi is not an accurate understanding of his worldview or behavior, in my opinion.

Calling people Nazis is sloppy sense-making in most cases. The goal should be accuracy, not fearmongering or woke-scolding. There is plenty to criticize Musk about without calling him a Nazi. The Nazi label should be reserved for proper Nazis or neo-Nazis. Calling MAGA Nazis is not correct in most cases.

Most people in America don't care about what Musk does or says. 

If anything, the majority of the people seem to clearly want fascism. Otherwise, they would've supported Trump, Musk, and MAGA in 2024.

I wouldn't be surprised if most Americans believe that he is some divine being sent from the heavens because of how much they herald his incredible talent as a brilliant businessman.

Then again, maybe one day enough people in our country will be so fed up with him once they realize how much of a robber baron he truly is.

He's an edgelord who thought it'd be funny. One of his elite buddies like Joe Rogan or someone probably dared him to do it for shits and giggles. Or he just thought it'd be a cool story showing how much he doesn't give a shit. 100% he and his buddies had many laughs about it.

Obviously, he likes the attention he gets from these antagonistic jabs. He gets two birds with one stone. On one hand, he gets praise and laughter from his buddies, on the other, he gets to tell people he hates to fuck off. It's a similar move to taking a sink into Twitter HQ and saying "let that sink in", albeit less morally repugnant.

He knows what he's doing. That's the important thing to focus on IMO. He plans these things out. "Why" is the question... not whether or not he's a Nazi. I think he's up to something far more cynical than what we see on the surface.

It's unclear to me.  The gesture was very sharp and forceful like a militant salute.  He didn't outright deny it or condemn Nazism and then he proceeded to give a speech about how Germans should be proud of their culture and not indulge in multiculturalism to dilute their population and culture.  It's dangerous to normalize these kinds of symbols and gestures but at the same time they naturally tend to lose their significance over time too.

But why did the MSM bite at the story?  After all, this is inconsequential and not real news.  It could have been safely ignored.  MSM is good at ignoring stories when it wants to.   It’s really a mutual agreement.  Sensationalism is good for business.

No it was a combination of "fuck yea!!!" and "thank you" that made that hand gesture. Which was consistent with his behavior from the start when he was jumping with his arms in the air. It was basically just him shouting with his body "fuck yea!! We won!!" and then waving a hand. It's more clear when you see him express the same emotion continuesly in a full video from the start.

You have to understand. In some people's eyes, these allegations are the most cringe allegations possible. Elon is not even talking it seriously. He makes a joke out of how cringe people's biases are instead. That's a healthy response when you see people being completely ridiculous.

Yes, it is consistent with his body language.  I also think he may have gotten that gesture from a Star Trek episode.  It doesn't look anything like a real fascist salute.   The MSM should really be accusing him of being a Romulan.
