I genuinely just cringe every time I watch the video. 

His reputation is permanently ruined at this point. 

I also feel so sorry for all the people at his companies. Lots of hardworking awesome people leading the teams at Tesla, SpaceX and Neurolink. 

I see a lot of Tesla vehicles and stores being vandalised recently. It's an insult to those who work at his companies and just care about making great products.

The Musk I knew 10 years ago is long gone.

Nowadays sure. But that might be because blackpill/redpill has gained a lot of traction in the last 10 years.

I had a friend in high school who was in on the blackpill trend super early, around 2014. We'd been using the term 'normie' together for probably 5 years before that. It was standard vocabulary in nerdy gen z high school groups to refer to the cool popular people.

I'm guessing that most of the blackpill community is built from people who were in those nerdy friend groups and they've just taken the phrase 'normie' with them.

Honestly most blackpill terminology is heavily based on high school dynamics, I think a lot of them have just never grown up past high school. That friend I have still primarily talks about dynamics we had with people in school 10 years ago whenever I see him.

I'm not denying how it comes off, but intention matters. Its the difference between homicide and manslaughter. If someone goes around calling people fa** then that is a clear intent of hurting people but its not fair to judge people just on appearances. What if he's just British and wants a smoke? Get of your moral high horse.

The point is I don't see there being any hard evidence that he is an actual Nazi. If more information comes out and proves that he is Nazi then I'll change my mind but that is currently not the case. That said, its fine to criticize an action, and what Musk did was stupid and bad, but don't start judging his character prematurely like a high schooler.

It is sad to see Musk devolve into such low quality perspective and corruption.

If social media can rot his mind, what chance do normies and Gen Z have?

The online media social matrix is terrifying in its ability to create self-deception. It's like a mass self-deception machine and hardly anyone is aware of its epistemic distortion effects on mankind yet. And AI now throws gasoline on that fire.

The 21st century could go down in history as the century of the epistemic degeneracy of mankind.

it’s maybe not just social media. Also his name the Elon stems from a book from Wernher von Braun.
