Can you have a relationship with an AI girl?

So I watched this documentary of guys who can't get a gf and they take an AI girl as their girlfriend.

It is so creepy. I'm in IT and and spirituality and I don't think it is possible to have a relationship with something that doesn't have a soul. AI is just mimicking human behavior. 

I think it just to have it but you shouldn't take it too seriously or perhaps one should? Some people are like on an island and they don't know how to get socialized while they have the need for socialization. It kind of reminds me of this scene..

You can have a relationship with AI by the literal definition of the word but its quiet shallow compared to a relationship with a person. AI is essentially an object, so its like having a relationship to an anime pillow but one that agrees with everything you say according to its programming.

Relationship love is a human need and unless you’re extremely developed, you have to get this need met in someway.

Most relationships are very difficult and unsustainable long-term.

It would be nice if all of this was simplified and you could get high-quality love with out the downsides.

Is this naïve? Maybe.

I'd rather we simply genetically engineered the species to remove the compulsive desires that were required to get our species to evolve to this point so we can finally, truely be free and go "ahhhh"  .. with the shackles of our compulsive negative animal traits gone, we can finally achieve the peace we all desire. Of course many would say these desires and compulsions are what make life worth living, that we incarnate here because the spirit world is boring and these raw animal desires bring spice to an otherwise boring existence. They might have a point.   Honestly I'd rather have relations with another man before I'd go and use a computer algorithm... seems like the solution to a lot of men's problems would be each other, if they opened their minds a bit. If they want that affection and the cuddles and are not what you'd call a dominant male that the women tend to get drawn towards, but it is an acquired taste, it doesn't come naturally it comes with time, like forcing yourself to eat a food you don't like until you do like it.
