Link below features a video of Soldiers from the Russian Armed Forces executing prisoners of war.

To execute a captured prisoner of war who has surrendered or a soldier trying to surrender, deliberately and not by accident, is a violation of the Geneva Convention.

We're getting to the point of this war where all concern of truth, international law, human rights, the Geneva Conventions, etc... has all been thrown out the window and disregarded.

When survival gets tough enough, people will start treating these international treaties on human rights as toilet paper.

According to the New York Times, 90 percent of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been subjected to torture, rape, threats of sexual violence or other forms of ill-treatment.

They removed the second video.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

In very poor countries families often sell their children to wealthy people who promised them they will live a better life.

The truth is they are exploited for brutal forms of … it’s then recorded and put on the Internet. They never see the light of day again.

Happens every day.

if you have sufficient imagination you could easily imagine some of the worst unbearable suffering and bring yourself to tears.

I saw something like this in a recent documentary about Africa's deadliest roads. Families sold their sons to a man who forced them to work for 12+ hours a day on woodwork and would only give them food and shelter. The families would recieve a money for their child. The children would never go to school and work for this man 8-10 years before being let go. The kids were as young as 5 years old and complained they had pain from doing repetitive tasks for hours on end. It was heartbreaking to watch.

@LoneWonderer that’s pretty bad and falls into modern day slavery. But they got lucky it could’ve been a lot worse.

What's even worse is that we all fund that kind of production to get cheap products. That's how that sweet "surplus value" is created. Even if some information about these conditions is leaked, not many want to look into it. No news site will get clicks by telling the reader that they are funding child slaves. And most of that information is not even available due to suppresion of journalist activity.

It's not a total coincidence that most of the worlds cheap products come from a country that has almost zero freedom of press.

Because why would a rich person ever want to buy some random malnourished child in a backwater country. Obviously because they won't be missed by anyone who matters.
