Link below features a video of Soldiers from the Russian Armed Forces executing prisoners of war.

https://www.reddit.com/r/UkraineWarVideoReport/comments/1i7xa5o/new_war_crime_russians_shooting_6_surrendered/

To execute a captured prisoner of war who has surrendered or a soldier trying to surrender, deliberately and not by accident, is a violation of the Geneva Convention.

We're getting to the point of this war where all concern of truth, international law, human rights, the Geneva Conventions, etc... has all been thrown out the window and disregarded.

When survival gets tough enough, people will start treating these international treaties on human rights as toilet paper.

According to the New York Times, 90 percent of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been subjected to torture, rape, threats of sexual violence or other forms of ill-treatment.

They removed the second video.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

In very poor countries families often sell their children to wealthy people who promised them they will live a better life.

The truth is they are exploited for brutal forms of … it’s then recorded and put on the Internet. They never see the light of day again.

Happens every day.

if you have sufficient imagination you could easily imagine some of the worst unbearable suffering and bring yourself to tears.

I saw something like this in a recent documentary about Africa's deadliest roads. Families sold their sons to a man who forced them to work for 12+ hours a day on woodwork and would only give them food and shelter. The families would recieve a money for their child. The children would never go to school and work for this man 8-10 years before being let go. The kids were as young as 5 years old and complained they had pain from doing repetitive tasks for hours on end. It was heartbreaking to watch.

@LoneWonderer that’s pretty bad and falls into modern day slavery. But they got lucky it could’ve been a lot worse.

What's even worse is that we all fund that kind of production to get cheap products. That's how that sweet "surplus value" is created. Even if some information about these conditions is leaked, not many want to look into it. No news site will get clicks by telling the reader that they are funding child slaves. And most of that information is not even available due to suppresion of journalist activity.

It's not a total coincidence that most of the worlds cheap products come from a country that has almost zero freedom of press.

Because why would a rich person ever want to buy some random malnourished child in a backwater country. Obviously because they won't be missed by anyone who matters.

I find dark art interesting. The twisted nature. The symbols of the potential for human depravity. Ultimately it is our own darkness/ugliness/repulsiveness/anguish.

This is all a part of what I call the Possibility Equation, if Goodness exist or comes into Existence then Badness does too, Duality is not opposites or about Division or anything of that sort of One becomes Two and on and on, its all One, Good/Bad, Rigth/Wrong, Bliss/Suffering, its one on the Ultimate level of Absolute, but here on this Earth, with Us Humans as we are, the Gross Level, Absolute is Subtle Level, Feelings and Meaning exist here, so Suffering counts as Meaningful, which creates Importance and such, so we have to look into it, but via a level of Awareness thru a Bliss filter, and definitely do not say this is Perfection when Kids are being sold as slaves and suffering horrible lives of Work and Abuse, that is not perfection, it just is the reality, and we can do something about it, that is why we are Here, to first Realize BEING which is one is in the Experience of Absolute, then go out an DO and HAVE Consciously, then there is no Children suffering horrible lives and it goes on and on, that is the choice, we investigate it under these conditions otherwise war and more suffering will continue to go on, one will let their emotions and false identities take over and Suffering continues, see Putin...

Thank you for sharing. I will look into it at some point. Let's be careful not to post too gore content as we don't know how others on the forum will take it. It's a large community here and we don't know how upset some people get with this type of content.

I recently read The Lost Girls: The True Story of the Cleveland Abductions and the Incredible Rescue of Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus. I'm sure many of you are familiar with this story.

My biggest take away from the book was simply having the acute awareness that incredibly sadistic minds do exist and reading this extremely detailed account in particular allowed me to dive deep into the thought process behind such a mind and the conditions that created it. It put my own crazy behavior into perspective which helped me process, accept, and forgive those evildoings.

Here is a summary from the book listing on Amazon:

"The Lost Girls are Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus―three innocent young women who were kidnapped, imprisoned, and repeatedly molested and beaten in a Cleveland home basement for over a decade by a depraved man named Ariel Castro. Their incredible escape, in May 2013, made headlines all over the world."

I highly recommend it since was such a huge headline regarding these types of people in modern times. It has opened my mind to what the human mind is capable of justifying and has helped me synthesize lots of information for understanding human behavior in general.

I think I have a documentary regarding this exact case (or very very similar case) on the playlist! It's a episode of Our America with Lisa Linn as host as she interviews one of the survivors and how she's been trying to live her life since and her story is brutal.

Since this post, I’ve been looking into this and found out that his daughter attempted to kill her own 11 month old daughter when she was 19, and currently still serving her 25 years. His nephew was indicted on distributing child porn, though I don’t know how that case went.

This makes me conclude that their behavior is hereditary. For instance, with the daughter, even if I acknowledge she grew up in an unfavorable environment, she has said that her father never abused her. If true, what would make someone be so bat-shit crazy that they have the impulse to kill their own 11 month child by cutting their neck, multiple times, unless that impulsive tendency is biologically inherited.

I remember this case. I watched the movie on it. I believe the perpetrator hung himself shortly after he was sentenced and imprisoned.

For those topics I prefer to study individual cases rather than comprehensive docs. So I'll supplement with some videos and articles that are particularly memorable to me. I created a playlist and tried to more or less organize it by category (rape, torture, serial killers, genocides, disasters, etc.). Channels that appear repeatedly are dedicated to such cases and are worth digging through, there's too many for me to list.

Sensitive people beware, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Some other playlists:

+ an addendum to the Dirlewanger Brigade (Come and See was based on them) - an eyewitness account
https://www.warsawuprising.org/witness/schenk.htm

I'll update the playlist and make new posts if I stumble on or remember more stuff.

If you study all this, integrate and learn to love it, then you'll be quite awake.
