How can I get a direct experience of solipsism?

12 posts in this topic

I am very good at contemplation and deep thinking in general.

I am not good at meditation, can't do psychedelics (at least for now).

Any advice?

@Never_give_up if I could not use psychedelics I would choose yoga. Kriya yoga or shambhavi mahamudra from Isha (sadhguru) and see if you can produce a mystical experience. There you could experience Solipsismus but no guarantee.

One can't experience what's true by going for the validation of a notion and system. Also, don't conflate mind activity with the act of grasping what your nature is. I suggest you start asking who and what you are throughout the day, beginning with the "who". Really question that until you get a breakthrough in consciousness.

You can get a direct experience of why Leo thinks it's true, when it isn't. You can learn how God can have multiple perspectives at once, and how there's no contradiction here.

The only yoga you need to know is pranayama (specific breathing patterns like inhaling for a minute, holding breath for a minute, exhaling for a minute, holding breath for a minute, repeat) and trataka (staring at a point or a light for hours and hours without blinking). I'd stay away from sadhguru, he's an idiot.

I'd also suggest https://firekasina.org/

Contemplate the implications of infinity. Imagine something that has no limits, therefore it is already all possibilities, but it is not closed, it is open but at the same time it is complete, since it cannot be expanded, it is already infinitely expanded. If you really contemplate it, your logical mind will realize its unreality, its impossibility to grasp the magnitude of infinity and it will break, then only you will remain, but you as what exists, absolutely unlimited. That is solipsism, everything is you, you are reality, there is no reality other than you, but everything you see is absolutely real, any perception is the absolute reflecting itself, so the depth of everything is total, because your depth is absolute. Nothing is finite, the finite is impossible, it only seems finite, but it contains the totality of existence to the infinite power. Death is impossible, you are, and anything else is just appearances

Anyway, solipsism is just an idea, what is much more interesting is realizing what you are: you are the life , the absolute being. Everything is in you, the power of the infinity, the absolute alive.

Try to be in two places at the same time. You can't; so recognize you're all there is because everywhere you go you're always there. You are the only common denominator in your entire existence. But all that is just a story. No such thing because there's no you, so you can't be the only thing in existence.

What you know leaves what you don't know and what you don't know is all there is.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty. We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Virtuous and Conscious. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. In this steady life God is available; via 5-MeO-DMT, ... Living in Self-Love, Realizing I am Infinity & I am God

Just don't believe what Leo or anyone says about Solipsism and you're halfway there.

Solipsism is not true.

It is only true in a relativistic sense.

I.e. your mind is the only thing it is possible for you to experience, but this does not mean that other minds do not exist. You only need to use basic logic to realise that other people DO EXIST and they have their own separate minds and experiences.

So Leo is wrong in his solipsism video.

I once saw Barack Obama giving a speech and he said something along the lines of:

"We must believe in an outside world. This podium is NOT a rhinoceros"

He got a laugh from the audience.
