Unrelated to above - when people ask Ken Wapnick what to do with things like video games and other desires — as they know that to get enlightened they need to let go of it all — Ken says to enjoy ur games, the final letting go happens at the end of the journey, when you’re old and ready to leave, not before. Makes sense. I tried to forcefully do it - doesn’t work, but it did show me that I can reach Nirvana purely by total commitment. Cool beans man.

It's not necessary to wait till old age in my experience. I've been celibate for 5+ years now. Anime/video games free for about 2-3 years only tho(sounds like a small number but it feels like ages to me lol). Surprisingly the hardest addiction to overcome for me are the cookies. Apparently I'm a cookie monster lol. But it's definitely possible to go beyond these things.

Current contemplation:

1. Life is a dream

2. I am dreaming it.

3. Dreams are made of thoughts.

4. To create a Divine, Blessed dream - I need to think Divine, Blessed thoughts. Like I really have to be obsessed about maintaining a Divine Thought System.

5. Profit.

@Salvijus as I see it - if you need to fight it, then it’s not time to let go. It’s more like a child outgrowing old toys. When you raise your level of consciousness you just play different, more enjoyable games.

I guess there's some truth to it. But it sounds like a super slow path.

“When you meet anyone, remember it is a holy encounter. As you see him you will see yourself. As you treat him you will treat yourself. As you think of him you will think of yourself. Never forget this, for in him you will find yourself or lose yourself. Whenever two Sons of God meet they are given another chance at salvation. Do not leave anyone without giving salvation to him and receiving it yourself. For I am always there with you, in remembrance of you.”

I just wanted to clarify if I understand Gary and Apostles. This is one of the best videos; he clearly says it's all about thoughts, not just Presence and looking at your ego, which is what Keith Kavanagh teaches.

So, which one is right in his application of forgiveness? Keith or Gary?

They are vastly different—one uses the power of the mind to become an observer, and the other uses the mind to think with the Holy Spirit.

Based on the metaphysics of ACIM, I believe that Gary's or the Apostle's method is correct.

Keith teaches basically the same that Eckhart does, and Spira - become Presence.  In the Apostle's teaching - they say Silence, aka meditation, helps to undo the separation, but it shouldn't be the main focus.

Oh, Gary also mentions that thoughts come first and experience follows - so that's manifestation. Still, according to him, it's best to focus on forgiveness to awaken from the dream by healing unconscious guilt instead of using the power of the mind to create a better guilty dream. You can still improve the dream, but it's not the main focus.

When you think with the thought system of the Holy Spirit - when you are in control of your mind - you get inspired ideas, since you are in the frequency of love, and that helps to improve the dream as well, together with Spirit removing parts of the dream that are no longer necessary since you completed that forgiveness lesson

Hmm, okay, so Ken keeps talking about thoughts much more than being the observer - I think observing your ego is just the beginning - to recognise it so you could let it go. Then, you have to exchange the thought system of the ego for the thought system of the Holy Spirit. Oke, getting more clarity now. So Keith's teachings are not it. He superimposed Eckhart Tolle's teachings on top of ACIM's, and that's what you get - a forgiveness of Ekchart Tolle type  - staying in the now and looking at the ego, instead of using the mind under the Guidance of the Holy Spirit to heal.
