It’s crazy how much of “news" consists of “predictions"

And mostly stupid predictions.

The amount of predictions i see on youtube about what Trump is going to do. What Putin is going to do. What is going to happen to Putin. Etc. it’s just endless. And most of it will never be true. It’s just ideas and speculation.

It’s just the news media and commentators creating mostly useless content.

Media used to bring the news to you. Now you get to what is happening in the world almost instantly on your phone. 

So what else is the media supposed to do. They start their big brain analysis.

Because it's easy cheap content for the endless mill.

All these people need to pump out new content every day no matter what. So they blattermouth whatever they can scramble together to get some clicks.

It's so much harder to actually say precise and original things. Speculation is the low-hanging fruit of the mind.
