Yes, upon reconstruction however it is very important how you pick and choose the information. You could end up even more deluded than before. You go through a process of re-learning which can take years in itself.

And honestly, even if you double and triple question yourself, you will delude yourself and later on figure out you did so, and so you go back and forth for years one mistake after another, but hopefully you figure it out in the end. However I am against dogma like these two hold.

Materialism was never based on proof, so it cannot really be disproven either. Materialism is a set of philosophical assumptions that are taken on faith. So it's like trying to disprove the flying spaghetti monster.

The supposed scientific verification that, as far as I know, does not yet exist. It is a promise, a possibility, or straight out speculation and jumping to conclusions. It's like saying "the burgers sold at this restaurant will eventually be vegan-friendly, so, in the meantime, give us the compliments and credentials for that now", or some such analogy.

Also, doesn't trying to reach a predetermined result kind of undermines the scientific process from the beginning? Which is to say, you start with a result in mind, and then base your experiments on trying to validate the premise? Just asking.

Then again, materialism hasn't been proved either, and can't be, since it is an assumption.
