I've Decided To Become a Sage

As a serious self-actualizer and student of this work, I've been called to share my most recent growth and journey into becoming a sage.

I don't usually post too much here, but as someone who has come to genuinely value truth, it feels right to be open and show where I'm at.

I've been attracted to spiritual wisdom for most of my life and have seriously contemplated and verified Leo's work and teachings.

In recent years, I've started to dedicate my life to this stuff, and now, every time I trip or meditate deeply I am told to be honest about this part of me which is a sage.

As you can imagine, I'm still super aware of my shortcomings, insecurities and my humanness, all of which I'm very much still integrating. But still, I acknowledge that this exists for me and I wanted to share it with you.

None of this growth would have been possible without Leo's work and Actualized.org. In fact, I am painfully aware that I would not be even close to where I'm at without this. It really has grown me and has moulded me into a person of Truth. So, thank you Leo. Seriously, thank you.

I share this here, on the off chance that any other serious self-actualizers could relate or be inspired.

I appreciate you taking you a look if you're curious.

Cheers

Imo it's a wrong approach in some sense. Your approach is positive: becoming a sage. What is a sage? An idea you have in your mind, like a beard. Here is the mistake (in my humble opinion). The correct approach would be negative: erasing all obstacles, dissolving all barriers, emptying the structure of the psyche. This is extremely difficult and if you really contemplate it, the magnitude of the challenge is revealed.

As the Zen poem says, if you have no preferences, heaven manifests itself. The moment you have any preferences, heaven and earth become infinitely separated. The only way to be a real sage is the cessation of the self, and if the self wants to be a sage.... twisted maze.

But of course, maybe you can achieve it, why not? Everything is possible

@ConsciousMan no. Becoming a sage I'd just an ideology. Just let go everything and anything. Completely surrender all these ideas. Trying to Become a sage is belief / matrix itself.

this is my approach too, because I've found one is already a sage, just gotta clear the clouds to let the sun shine through. I don't become god, I'm already god always, just recognize that and let go of anything obscuring that.

Just be a student.

You don't need to tell yourself that you're a sage or a mystic or enlightened.

Just try to always keep learning and don't act arrogant about your experiences.

Strength v Weakness

I dont often reach/sail through the right part of the seas or mountain that oversees all aspects of myself and what they might be best known as; And theres a range of peculiar—often wordless verbs happening in my head, which all adds to my own inability to say "i am ----" in so far as i just would say it as "i am". But i am observing more of a spectrum, more of a pandoras box. I dont know if you are into mysticism, but i think thats how you might connect the word 'sage' in a way that isnt like, a limiter, but a continuation in the realms of mysticism, does that make sense? iuno, to me thats how we balance the mystical/spiritual side of ourselves, the universe within ourselves and in further understanding the human condition. That is, its through a cascade of events, and a... iuno i wanna call it a 'strength' to continuously identify and manage said reality—though im not sure thats the right words im tryina say... makes me think of a 'weakness' vs. 'strength' type of thing, and im not sure about having to conjure them in this context. I guess its something for everyone to contemplate.

p.s. im tryina title things more so its understood/read as a kind of insight, as opposed to a comment thats read as like some stab or like, jagged thing.
