Ceasefire deal reached between Israel and Hamas

The biggest universities in the US receive donations from countries such as China and Qatar, very likely to promote their agenda, which is likely antisemitic, anti-Western, and pro-Hamas under the guise of wokeness and progression.

Students in those universities end up being brainwashed by these “woke” agendas without any real attempt to foster truthful discussion and reach deeper, more nuanced understanding and truth, as should be the goal in an educational system.

So, I am not surprised by the existence of organizations like Canary Mission. This is valid.

Whether their accusations against the people they accuse of Nazism and Antisemitism are valid or not, it is difficult to find reliable and genuinely unbiased data online.

But it’s also important to bear in mind that the Nazism and Antisemitism of today have been evolved and are more sneaky and covered because of the political correctness.

Just getting donations doesn’t mean they are pushing their agenda.

We have plenty of examples of professors and students being fired and expelled for criticizing Israel, not the other way around.

Canary mission targets people for doing things as simple as holding a Palestinian flag or being at a protest, then smears them and tries to stop anyone from hiring them.

China and Qatar gift U.S. universities money, literally millions, without any hidden interests? Without expecting anything in return? Difficult to believe.

Were the professors who got fired for criticizing Israel, were fired only because they were criticizing Israel? Also difficult to believe.

There are so many people protesting for Palestine and holding Palestinian flags. Do all of them end up with ruined careers? Difficult to believe.

Organizations have limited resources such as money, time and men power so they must allocate it wisely. They can’t afford targeting any kid with a Palestinian flag. One has to be more provocative and do more than simply holding a Palestinian flag to be worth targeting.

Nobody from the outside has to teach the West about anti semitism. They do just fine on their own

But ya there are gonna be more and more anti western and pro Hamas propaganda flooding into the west

This has to be the most extensively and vividly documented ethnic cleansing in history, exposing its full brutality. Thousands of CHILDREN caught in pictures and videos- blown-off hands, legs, and heads. You can’t just sweep this under the rug. Once the dust settles, there’ll be documentaries everywhere, loaded with these images and gut-wrenching stories. I’d bet my left nut that in Europe, at least, they’ll be doing free screenings in theaters and public spaces. The PR disaster here is off the charts- there’s no coming back from this.

The yidish pilpul in this and other threads reeks of pure desperation. It still manages to fool the blind masses- for now. But that grip is slipping, and it won’t last much longer.

That vid of the Israeli  hostages being released to the Red Cross is fucking nuts. I can’t get over how terrifying that must be holy shit.

Must all be dissociated as shit by now but still.

Yeah I’m glad to hear they are safe now. Hopefully they have expert mental health and general health support for them. I know they seem to have the latter but don’t know about the former.

No country serves another country. It's about shared values and interests. It's about finding common ground, alignments, and scratching each others backs.

The US, EU, and Israel have a lot of common ground on values, economics, intel, tech. This is why they largely blindly support each other. It's like an old marriage. Even if your spouse misbehaves you don't abandon them because there is something much larger at stake.

Yes, it probably will take a life time to heal.

There’s actually some truth to what another member here claimed- that Europeans support Israel because we don’t want Jews in Europe. There’s definitely truth to that. We want Israel to exist, and we sacrificed a hell of a lot of our values and integrity to make sure that happens. Meanwhile US got a whole different set of motivations- ranging from brain-dead evangelicals to full-on infiltration and blackmail.

As I said, once Israel has the hostages, they will have no mercy and no honor. The pig-headedness will continue. Gaza now has zero leverage and Netanyahu will punish them for it.

Noting this down as a high perspective- also our political systems and their dysfunction are a reflection of collective values … not very high if you look at most world leaders (the US and Trump for example).

Higher than China, Middle East, Russia, and the non-Western world.

The West still has the highest values of what's found around the world. You gotta keep things in proper perspective.

Neoliberal tech-bro democracy is still more advanced than Putinism or Islamic theocratic monarchy or Chinese communism.

They only agreed to give the last of the hostages in phase 2 when all idf pull out of Gaza
