Hey apologises for replying late, i cant lie im not intellectual enough yet to understand what most of this means. Can you summarise you what you meant in simple terms if at all possible? all i want to know is where im going wrong with trying to be happier

(and im also aware that trying to be happy is kind of a bad way to be happy lol)

Srry mate heh, I've been training so much these past few months the weight of that sometimes dictates my convo's too much ah!

In really simple terms:

  • Stop chasing happiness directly; focus on personal growth through real challenges.
  • Pay attention to how your body and mind feel, and work on keeping them in sync (for example, by staying active, managing stress, and reflecting on your experiences).
  • Don’t rely on fleeting social media dopamine hits or other external fixes. I've talked about how external reality is its own honeypot, taking us away from the reality that the gold is in internal alignment. Internal alignment results in accurate external appraisal, aka you can see through the traps of the world and the false beliefs we have reinforcing the hidden traps.

Keep learning about yourself; the more self-awareness you have, the easier it is to tap into genuine happiness instead of temporary thrills without the learning mastery.

Let me know if there's anything else bud. Rock on.
