I wanted to watch this video from a 2018 blog post about how you started your business and it says that that video doesn't exist. Also about the video you done on why you deleted the solipsism video.

A good example of why you should save a local copy of any valuable content that you purchase. One day it could be gone forever due to purely external and coincidental reasons.

I disagree! That way you allow for piracy. And therefore renders your work valueless if you allow everybody to download it on their machine. It only takes one bad person to spread it all online for free or for a reduced price.

I'm not saying the provider/owner should provide direct downloads of files, it's their prerogative to apply whatever protections they wish. Pretty much any such system is easily circumvented though, and as you said it only takes one person to do so. Piracy is a much deeper issue, there's no simple solutions to it. It's up to each person to decide what level of integrity they wish to maintain, what they're prepared to do and what's going too far. It's entirely possible to acquire the content legally, make a backup for yourself, and never share it with anyone, that would be a balanced approach.
