When you see a spider like this

23 posts in this topic

It literally just crawled into my room and only by the grace of GOD did I catch a glimpse of it before going to sleep. I was afraid and in shock and so obviously I killed it mercilessly.

My question is. Is this bad? Should I have been hippie and conscious about the life of this other being? Was my fear just tricking me into thinking this was a dangerous situation or is this bitch really a dangerous devil’s spawn that deserved to be sent back to the hellfire from which she came?

The shadow looks like an even bigger spider. Are you not afraid of that?

I hate this but..

All things Bright & Beautiful' by Monty Python

All things dull and ugly,

All creatures short and squat,

All things rude and nasty,

The Lord God made the lot.

Each little snake that poisons,

Each little wasp that stings,

He made their brutish venom.

He made their horrid wings.

All things sick and cancerous,

All evil great and small,

All things foul and dangerous,

The Lord God made them all.

Each nasty little hornet,

Each beastly little squid--

Who made the spikey urchin?

Who made the sharks? He did!

All things scabbed and ulcerous,

All pox both great and small,

Putrid, foul and gangrenous,

The Lord God made them all.

Amen.

ps: still in shock 😳  i wanna cry but no tears come whyyyyyy godddd madeee thissss creaturee

ps 2 : actuallly you know what I don’t think God created certain animals. Some of them are probably just a creation of our human FEAR. There’s no way a spider is a creation of Divine Love

ps 3 : yeah i guess my soul attracted this spider cuz I’m in a low vibration that’s it

I used to kill bigger spiders.

had spider phobia.

Sometimes i felt they deliberately followed me.

Then i stopped killing spiders, i leave them alone they leave me alone now and i’m not really scared anymore.

Lol.

I let spiders in my rooms because they are harmless and kill other insects.

I'll just tell you my reaction to this, although the spider is in a cramped spot, would be for me to get a jar, catch it, and then put it outside. Maybe get a ruler to get it out to a more open area. It feels decent to do that, but it's not like I'm overwhelmed with enjoyment after doing it lol. Killing it may make you upset.

I'm sure the philosophy on the matter goes way deeper, but generally, keeping the spider alive and moving it away from me, makes me feel good.

But don't feel upset you killed it! You doing that made this post!

The biggest harm to you is yourself.

Yea maybe that’s a bit scary.

Most spiders here in Europe don’t really bite humans.

Although i heard Tarantulas in Latin America their bite is only about as bad as a bee sting.

I don't know the spiders from other countries, but here in Europe, the Tegenaria Domestica is very common. They can be quite big, but they are harmless.

I'm quite scared of spiders, but when they appear, I know it's just temporary and that they will soon find a place to live and hide. So I just try not to disturb them and I avoid them.

It can cause some me bad nights when they appear in my room before I go to bed, but I tell myself that they won't stay there and that they are as scared of me as I am of them.

If it was an unknown spider, and potentially a dangerous one, I would catch it to release it outside, just to make sure.

I caught a tarantula in a cup and put him outside. Just do that.

I’m so afraid of doing that😭😭 One day if I’m ever able to release this fear of insects my life will be so much better it will be a tremendous relief because it really lowers the quality of my life. I commend you for being so brave as to take it outside in a cup

It seems to not matter how many times I’m told that spiders and various other insects are harmless to humans, the fear is still present

You can also grab a broom and tilt it in a way to allow the spider to climb on it, then put them outside. The broom is good because the spider will not slip out of it easily and you keep a distance.

@Leo Gura how do you deal with mosquitos in your home? Kill them, let them suck your blood or try to release them out?

There is not 1 mosquito in Vegas.

But if there were, of course you kill them. Some pests just cannot be allowed.
