Upgrading My Drinking Water System: Recommendations and Product Suggestions Needed

9 posts in this topic

What is everyone doing for their drinking water? Do you use a water softener with a filtration system, a pH water attachment for the sink, a Brita filter, or perhaps a water cooler with refillable jugs? I currently use a Brita but am looking to upgrade.

Living in a cold climate, I find that drinking chilled water makes me feel even colder. I drink a lot of water, and while I don’t refrigerate my Brita pitcher, the water never quite reaches room temperature. Do you prefer drinking room-temperature water, and do you find it beneficial?

Are there systems that allow better temperature control? I know water coolers typically offer cold and hot water options, but I’m curious if there are other alternatives. Please share your specific products and experiences if you would.

Thank you!

My sister introduced me to sparkling water a few months ago. I now enjoy drinking it regularly. Lots of flavors to choose from and no sugar. Any brand that the store sells I’ll take. Have you tried sparkling water before?

@Yimpa I’ve always enjoyed sparkling waters like San Pellegrino and Perrier. When dining out, I tend to choose similar beverages or explore other non-alcoholic options, as I’ve given up drinking alcohol. I don’t have any at home right now, but that’s a great suggestion—I’m planning to stock up soon so I’ll always have something crisp and refreshing on hand. If you had to pick just one brand, which would it be?

I feel like you have to test all of them, and figure out which one is the smoothest for your throat. Perrier is pretty good, but the bubbles are a bit rough for me, I need something that is more gentle.

Many distinctions can be made in the domain of sparkling water!

Bubly… the cap is a different color depending on the flavor!
