Homeless, Need some Guidance

32 posts in this topic

When you made a post about needing someone to talk to and i was one of the few on here that acknowledge your request and issued an invitation to dm me, your response was (and i say this because it's already in the open with this thread you made), when I asked what's going on, all you said was " I got kicked out of my house". What was I supposed to do with that info.

Then you have the audacity to tell me I'm speaking nonsense, even if I'm mistaken in how badly toxic that work environment is. So much for caring in the future about these nonsensical cries for help. I'm so through with them, not to mention the suicidal ones. My patience has run out for these things. Pointless, and I'm the only one feeling the brunt of the remnants that follow.

Don't even respond to this please, as I won't really care what you have to say anymore. It's nonsense and not worth your replying to. All that said, I hope you receive the aide you need, to better your life experiences and circumstances.

@UnbornTao You just assume its a theory. There is not a sense of you. Only thoughts and sensations appearing.

Whether it is or not is irrelevant to accomplishing goals. So, not a useful consideration here.

This is what I mean. A total waste of time and resources. If there's no sense of you, why are you making a thread about you losing your home, job, or whatever. There's a time and a place for this "there's no you" stuff; and if one is asking for materialistic guidance for situations happening in the real world, it surely isn't the time and place then.

@SQAAD Taking a shit job to get on your feet is fine. Your body is resilient enough for a short stint somewhere shitty. But, when I get that job I would keep searching for a better one.

Owner of the kiosk got his spleen removed because of his toxic work environment.

Yet people encourage me to destroy my health for a few bucks.

I stayed in that kiosk for 2 hours and i felt toxic like i was getting cancer afterwards.

Im surprised by some of the comments here..

Why did I even come back to this forum...

I gave you not just this suggestion. I gave you something that I would my self do, because maybe that's the only best thing IN A WHILE i will get. If you are scared of dying then move to heaven. You may or may not know why the guy got his spleen removed. You didn't see his diagnosis or didn't live his life. That could be one of the options why he got. Are you ready to receive and implement any advice that you are asking? Sounds like being homeless is no big deal to you and you could waste time arguing here at the cost of you being homeless. Then leave the forum, what's the problem? Why to ask at all?

"My gut hurts, it must be cancer. It's toxic because I believe it and project it into the rest of my life." Bro you don't know if I will or you will live tomorrow. And a fucking invisible virus can kill you or invisible toxins in your tap water. What are you arguing about? Are you trolling? Ok, search for other things instead of that kiosk, stop wasting time here.

No one has to show any compassion towards your post, but they did; and your response is nothing short of feeling entitled to one.

Hello, Princess! I don’t know you maybe I am wrong, but I have a feeling that you need to become more sensitive...😅

We may consider it snobbish or foolish not to take a job because of apparent trivial health concerns, however please can we show understanding. The human mind is not entirely rational; none of ours is, especially under stress. More to the point, did we actually go there and see how toxic the place is and can we truly weigh that up against the timeline and subconscious options that may exist within the mind of the decisionmaker who, as I understand it, is not yet completely destitute?

We need to meet people where they are at. Being too harsh in our criticisms of that persons' apparently irrational decision-making is also not helpful.

As for advice, yes maybe contact any extended family, temporary jobs can also sometimes buy us time, I think it's great that you've reached out to this forum. In my country, registering with recruitment agencies seems to have a slightly higher success rate than applying online to companies directly or through job sites for example, which can take months and require hundreds of applications. My advice would always be to pick up the phone and talk to recruiters regularly, keep a list of their contact numbers, or visit them in person if possible, although this is only based on my own humble experience.

I'm overly sensitive, that's the problem. I get pissed off at people asking for help but want to dictate how the help comes. The bigger picture reveals more than my few little words of ranting. My patience ran out, that's all. Empathy and caring gets one but so far.

You are a very rational princess, and rational people don’t have any patience. 🤣 Even if you are right, if he goes and kills himself because he feels that nobody cares about him, then how would you feel about what you said? Will you have more patience the next time you talk to someone who is seriously depressed?

Nope. Ruining your health for any amount of money is not fine in most situations.

Lol
