I think it is about being flexible with yourself and give more credit to what you want in a conscious and respectful to yourself manner. Rather than surrendering vs non-surrendering just be more loving and loyal to what your mind tells you to do at the moment.

@James123 Would you say Love is a biproduct of surrendering?

For me surrender is more an active process and Love an aspect of consciousness.

That’s a good way to put it. The only thing is “surrender” doesn’t always mean “let go” the way certain people may take to mean that they have to “surrender” their life, i.e kill themselves. It’s more nuanced and sometimes surrender means that you have to give it every ounce of energy and fight you have in you, accepting the outcome regardless.

Of course. Correct. But death of i is the key. Selflessness opens the door.

Absolute reality is being and being is love shining in all directions, for we call love the absence of self. Love is not something, it is what remains when the self is gone, it is existence. Letting go means there is nothing more, there is no after, no deeper, there is this now, and it is total.

@James123 existence has no purpose. Granted it does appear that it has a purpose. But just one look inside yourself is enough to reveal the absurdity of life.

I'm just so called body for a while now actually . I have no Internal monologue. No sense of separation from the world .no sense of self etc . Even when people yell at me or call my name I'm thinking "I'm dead. Who the hell are they calling ?" 😂.

Yes if you try to do it with the mind it becomes a psychological goal of the ego

You as a being do not need to surrender, You already in Nirvana now, only thoughts and goals can veil the truth.

You can learn to let go the human just for a while, it's just a mental technic, maybe an art, that comes with the deep understanding of the human structure. You are still a human full of fear and attachment, as you should be, but with intelligence and will you can deactivate that fear and attachment for short periods. Doing this requires a deep understanding of your own structures that are different from another person's, there are no beaten paths or universal techniques, it is a unique path that you have to forge.
