I think Europe should ban every company that Musk is involved. Especially X.

Of course if that happens then the right wing will claim that "Europe has fallen" and has fallen into authoritarianism. 

I think it's politically feasible though, for example Musk is extremely unpopular with the British public in polls.

I think he’s kind of trying to destroy the European Union. One of the reasons is the EU has stricter rules on tech companies than the US.

I'm shocked to become aware of the Chinese EV market which is now rolling out more so in Europe with BYD. Besides whatever else Musk had in mind for political power - no doubt another incentive was to secure protectionist policies from daddy Trump who has said he would impose 100% tariffs on Chinese EV's. The same Elon Musk who shares Milton Friedman videos extolling the virtues of free market competition and capitalism - cries crocodile tears for government protection the moment Chinese EVs threaten Tesla's market dominance.

He isn’t a natural born citizen which is what’s most important. I remember that Ted Cruz was born in Canada and Trump used to troll him for that during debates saying he isn’t qualified. You can be born outside the USA and technically run for president if you are born a USA citizen according to law and don’t have to go through the naturalization process. Neither of Elon’s parents were USA citizens and Elon had to naturalize to become a USA citizen.

Also Just realized—why did the Republicans go so hard after Obama and demand his birth certificate? His mom was a U.S. citizen, so it wouldn’t have mattered where he was born. Feels like it was more about politics than the actual rules.
