I get the sense he’s not interested in self-development. He parted ways with Sam after Sam jokingly showed him how wrong he was. He’s not the type to want to be corrected. He’d hate you for it. Lol.

Of course.

If he took seriously things I say his life would implode. Which is why no one important listens to me. I am pure death to power. :D

It could work if he plays his cards right. Trump’s managed to keep his con running on the world stage for about a decade now. But if I had to guess, Elon won’t be as effective at it as Trump. A lot of the followers have underdeveloped egos, and those egos tend to have a secret hatred for anyone who reminds them of their own inferiority. That’s why I think Elon’s house of cards could come down much faster than Trump’s. Plus, he’s not even really American. MAGA don't like that.

Yep.

Just imagine him as your uncle. Such a great guy. Much better than most pieces of heap. We need more people like him.

To desire it is to have it in imagination... 💫

It's funny how some people actually look up to someone just cus' they're in a position of power. The most wealthy man (in terms of money) does something controversial and suddenly there's a debate about the meaning of it; when in fact the message was clear:

*H*il H*tler, I'm the richest  mothaf*cka in the world so I can do whatever I feel like*

*applause*

What's even funnier is some people actually see this as a surprise. Imagine yourself in a position of power. Not just power - the world's wealthiest person. You can do ANY FUCKING THING you want. And you do a salute like that... obviously this confirms our image of Elon as a person - very immature and whose only worth is  for the other eyes to see

Not so easy.

His worth goes way beyond that.

He's rich for a reason. He provides a lot of material value to people. Don't forget that.

Just because he's a political pervert does not mean he doesn't provide serious value elsewhere.

That is the paradoxical nature of people.

Elon could murder 10 babies tomorrow on stage, and he would still have provided more net value to the world and to American society than anyone on this forum. That's the mindfuck of it that leftists do not comprehend in their drunken self-righteous socialist stupor.

Musk is a disgusting egotistical character, but he also generates enormous material survival value.

It's important that your worldview accounts for all this.

Not saying that this is necessarily the case with Elon, but how hard is it really to keep growing your wealth if you are already very rich to begin with? You could probably provide nothing in terms of actual value and still keep getting richer and richer.

How much of it really is true and how much of it is just stage orange fantasy about being this visionary individual entrepreneur, with life purpose, and changing the world for the better.

What would happen if Elon never existed? Wouldn't there just be some other billionaire guy running all those companies. Or other companies doing the same thing?

How much worse off would the world be if Elon was never born?

@Leo Gura Do you not think truth will ultimately lead to infinite power? These people's problem is they don't have infinite power just large amounts of it so they have to fight to maintain the survival of their house of cards. Once AI bring infinite power to our realm through nuclear fusion and robotic labour I think toxic and violent power games will drastically reduce on earth if not stop completely.

As a matter of fact AI will eventually have a monopoly on violence and end all wars; I just don't see how that wouldn't happen.

That is true in general.

But Musk doesn't just sit around collecting rent. He's actively making new useful tech. So your point fails for his case.

Sure there is plenty of media hype and spin and BS fantasy. But the tech underneath it all is very real.

And of course what I'm saying does not mean Musk personally invented everything. But he did put its creation into motion and financed it. He risked all his money to make it work.

This is not an argument you want to make because it will apply to any human who did anything important or valuable.

What if Leo had never existed? Some other guy would take his place.

You can't hold that view consistently. As long as you want to give credit to people for anything, you gotta give him credit.

(incoming conspiracy theory, don’t take it seriously)

Do you ever think that the Elon is supported by the cia or something?

With very sensitive projects like star link  seemingly not everybody would be allowed to have such power.

And now he‘s in the government.

This is science fiction and speculation about so far in the future that it is both irrelevant and totally unknown.

Crazy things will happen in 500 years, but it hardly matters to us today, nor it is useful to try to predict it.

The CIA would view him as a huge liability and mark, since he is so erratic, vain, egotistical, and unable to control his mouth.

He's just the kind of guy you gather compromat on for blackmail or manipulate by feeding his ego what it wants to hear.

But it is kind of the case for the most people, in my opinion.

Very few people, like you for example, are genuinely very unique and can offer unique insights about the world. But I wouldn't put billionaire CEOs in that same category.

And maybe it's not my place to make that kind of judgement, but then it's also not your place to judge the value of those 10 babies. Who knows what kind of value they could potentially provide to the world.

But Musk is a highly unique figure. He's not a typical CEO. Without his investments there would not be a reusable rocket or electric cars we have now.

But you have to weigh those 10 babies against the 100 lives saved by Tesla auto-pilot or auto-breaking, or lives save from less pollution on the roads, or Ukrainian lives saved in the war from Starlink internet.

So I don't need to judge those babies because it's like an algebra equations, it cancels out.

But the CIA is generally run by conservative-leaning people and Musk has become a right-winger. So, why wouldn't they support whatever he is doing given that their ideologies and level of overall development align with his?
