This forum has the inclination to call everything "shame" and "guilt" related when they don't understand the topic.

If somebody is cocaine addicted, the negative effects of his drug abuse is not shame and guilt around his abuse. The topic is much deeper.

It is a total bastardization of psychology. There are two specialists talking about very deep topics related our deep biology/psychology and there are some hillbillies just brushing it off "nah, you are just ashamed about your porn use"..

Id argue the shame and guilt arise cause of something.

Is like saying: "DAMN, since I joined this Nazi extremist group we go beating people Up every saturdays night and im begginning to not feel very good about It"

And then you say to me: Ey! Theres really nothing bad about the Nazi extremist group! Arent you sure that intution that is not very good for you isn't because some guilt and shame feelings?

 

In the same manner, nearly all porn revolves around violence and Domination/submission dynamics, something that as I already said has Deep Karmic imprints which obviously Will leave a certain not so good-feeling trace on the energy system.

The shame and guilt is just a reaction to this imprint. Is not that feeling shameful is good or bad, It just tells you something about the action you are doing It. Identifying with the shame or guilt feeling would be the problem, but just observing how It arises can give you insight about what is actually going on.

 

We wouldnt be arguing about whether porn is good or bad if most porn would be Tantric porn, but turns out most of the content is deeply twisted and collaborates to the big entanglement and Maya/illusion.

Yes, but I'm talking about the deeper root where that is coming. I'm talking about source karmic imprints from the initial creation of Reality. 

Don't think that what I'm writing comes from watching any type of conservative content or some blog I read somewhere. 

This insight comes from thousand of hours of consciousness and deep perceptions into the dynamics of reality.

There's a lot of repressed sexuality which leads to a "virtuous" facade on the one hand and extremely brutal, misogynist, rape fantasies on the other side. That's not all there is but it's surprisingly hard to find something between (it exists of course, but it gets drowned out by the other stuff). Demonizing porn is just one symptom of that.

Porn is dangerous (drugs are another example) and can lead to very unhealthy views of women and yourself. But to call it evil doesn't solve the problem, it perpetuates it.

It could potentially be treated as a form of art — though that's few and far between the other stuff, granted.

to your first point, that's a huge exaggeration. There's still a high amount of shady stuff going on in that industry and even at an armature level it's fundamentally slimey and souless. There are plenty of OF girls who are broken by their choices and have a horrible disdain towards the men who they interact with, but keep doing it for the money.

To the point about clothes, you're absolutely right. But it is much easier to avoid porn than it is to avoid clothes made by sweatshops. I actually need clothes.
