I want to make such forum

In my country. I find very hard to meet people who love self development all the people are unconscious, addicted to something or don't care about development. What do you think about it? Is it a good idea? And also how hard will it be? I am from Georgia.

I would suggest to just focus on yourself, there is too much growth to do to worry about building a community. But that's just my bias.

+Actualized.org is probably enough ;)

A few tips —

  1. Join a Facebook or WhatsApp group in your country that is related to personal development.
  2. Make a WhatsApp group of your own and send link to your friends who are interested in joining.
  3. Hire a therapist.
  4. Watch YouTube videos in your native language that's related to your personal development.
  5. Leo's older videos on primary self development are good enough
  6. Dissociate and disconnect from people who are not interested in self development.
  7. Socialize a shit ton to develop yourself. And to find people who are like-minded.
  8. Hire an accountability partner on this forum.
  9. Start a journal to keep a progress record.
  10. Interact more on the forum.
  11. Read relevant books.

Making a forum might not help you because there's just too many unconscious people that need to be weeded out every now and then. It becomes a task in and of itself. You have to constantly patrol like a police. Not healthy for your own development.

Best personal development advice — Save time and money.

Very hard. Because how are you going to find these people and get them all in one space? Your target audience would be like finding needles in a haystack.

Building such a community requires that you publish work that draws such people in. People will not come to an empty space, but they could come for you if you have something valuable to offer them.

That's how this forum can exist. It could not exist if I just created an empty forum and asked people to come talk about personal development.

You have to publish serious work to get people to come to you. Like by writing a brilliant book or creating a unique course or seminar. You need content. Content draws people in. An empty space does not work on its own.

You can open an empty nightclub but no one will come without popluar music and lots of promption and marketing work.

Start by making a handful of high quality friends  ;)

The gym, new age events, PUA groups or bizz / networking events are some places to find slightly above average people. It's still not easy though.
