There are lots of people here doing 'real magic' using techniques.

In darkness you gaze while turning off your internal dialogue and wait for visuals to show up, and can physically manipulate them.

And using certain "dances" you can smear the visuals on your body, or watch them come out of the body.

There's also the recapitulation headsweep where with eyes closed you inhale sweeping your neck from the left shoulder to the right and then exhaling from the right shoulder to the left, which creates after enough time (three hours might be good) strong body sensations and visuals, you go "inside".

It would be interesting to see this tested scientifically.
