@Dodo if the best move for white is pawn to H4 on the first move … that’s already a red flag.

Its not the only best move, all 3 top moves have the same 0.00 eval. Just a little variety. What's wrong with h4, why red flag? Because you're conditioned to have that white advantage and snap the center.

In chess 960 variant there are many positions where h4 is best first move. Why not in this variant?

The idea behind h4 h5 is to try to dislodge the knight from g6 which is helping black with the center and try to turn it from an asset into a liability. To me this just adds more strategic depth to the game.

Why not just play me and see how it feels. Here's the link. https://www.chess.com/daily/seek/1058693149

I played many games against the white computer and it’s just uncomfortable and black from move 1 has to play reactionary to everything white does, so white did not lose the initiative.

A chess engine cannot evaluate the flow and structure of a game from move one, normal chess is all 0.00 on move one, but we know that it’s not.

Because after 10 to 15 moves, you could see that white has better positional advantages because white had the initiative from the beginning and black had to play reactionary from the beginning.

With your variation, nothing has changed.

Black has to play perfectly starting to move one or else they get a huge disadvantage after White plays E4 or h4.

There’s even less opening variation than normal chess.

The memorization problem has not changed.

There’s no reason this is equal.

It does a lot more than that, the best reply is H5, which is forced. Or e5…Ne7… pretty bad…

And if you play out that position, you realize how difficult it is for black. The H5 pawn is a weakness. So black struggles to castle because it has to remove the defender of h5 pawn the rook.

You’re not realizing how limited black options are and how limited the whole game as we become.

Its the same in normal chess, black usually has to react to what white is doing... in this version thr centrr is balanced. First movrt advantage removed. You would give white thr first move, but not give black a premove before the game? Thats selfish and white supremacist *joking xD*

All the weaknesses you mentioned for black are there for white also, if the opening is mirrored, and black has this beautiful g6 knight to attack with. Black not gonna just sit there and take it, it can make threats. I played so many games and thr variant feels amazing. Evaluation bar starts from exact even and then tbe best man wins.

This is just a patch I would do, a new expansion, if I was the owner of Chess. Giving black a premove such that the game is fully balanced from beginning 👌

@Leo Gura took a look at your Fischer random game 10, GG yoh! 💪 I liked it that you were being a little bit aggressive on that one, practice playing more in between moves that would help boost your rating quicker. Anyway wishing you all the best and hope to seeing you climb and reach the master level.

@Raskara I'm not going to be a master. I just wanna play consistently at 2000.

But thanks!

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo Gura if you hit 2000+ in Fischer random that's the same as IM level, go for it the point of chess has always been about competition, playing better than your opponents and even going beyond your pre-understanding of the game. Once you hit that level I plan on challenging you and putting it on streaming media platforms for my African brothers and sisters to watch, what do you think@Leo Guraanyway I am going  through the dark night of the soul and the upward "hallucination path" you mentioned and your recent lower and higher perspective video has helped my mind gain clarity alot it's hard for me to be deceived by lower minds as of these days thanks for the grace you share through your videos my understanding of consciousness has risen a lot and it's no longer on the realm of conceptual understanding but it has become an experiential thing for my awareness to perceive. But seriously I hope to play you ASAP after fully transcending my ego.
