The state of no thought.

Could you all explain what happened to me. When I woke up today I was having thoughts of resentment due to past. But then I slept again in the morning and when I woke up again in the noon I was not experiencing any thoughts, my mind was balnk.I concluded from it that I don't need to think positive to feel happy.

Brain resets after you sleep.

In thoughtless states or states of stillness, there's no suffering. Suffering vanishes when we start observing our mind. Unobserved mind creates  suffering. (Said by Eckhart Tolle).

And the point is that you can't always achieve this state (i.e, state of observation, stillness and peace).  Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't. It's okay.

It's the thoughts that create the suffering, and not the external situation. It's all internal.

@Candle Then how could be it when I woke from night's sleep , I was resentful while when I slept again for few hours which is total more than 8 hours I didn't experienced any thoughts and life was flowing smoothly.

It's the brain chemistry. Maybe you didn't get good quality sleep at night. How many hours did you sleep at night and how many in  daytime?

Sometimes it may happen you wake up and you don't feel good. It happens to me as well sometimes. But in almost all cases, a good quality sleep should reset the brain.

Absolutely. To feel happy you just have to not be disturbed by mental identifications of limitation.

Which is not to say you should not think, but to experience a little distance between what is you and the thoughts.

@Rishabh R that's beautiful. When you only be, that's pure love and beauty. That's what you get. Thoughts are chaos.

You arent in control what you think you are in control of reacting to what you think. You arent thinking your ego is. You are no thought reacting to thought.

No one thinks, thoughts just happen. No one pees, peeing just happens. No one speaks, talking just happens. If you say otherwise, please write a short paragraph below how you have managed to do these things.

Nothing is happening to you. You have attached yourself to everything that arises because you believe you're a separate being. It feels real, but it's all illusory. At the same time, there really is no attachment because there's no one doing that.

Guys all that we talk about here about noself, no me, illusion, no doer, all the crazy seeming stuff......it has to not seem that way or else there would be no world. No continuation of a life, no seeming reality and experiences. You'd all just be zombies walking around just hearing sounds seeing colors and movement and feeling sensations. No story behind all that and everything would just seem empty, meaningless and pointless. Somehow this energy that we call "me", comes with it all this stuff that makes it appear so real. Enjoy it while it lasts because when it does or fall away there's no more you, even though there's none already, but it would be like you never existed. There's no one to even tell the difference.
