This is a colossal beast of a challenge to overcome. Tiktok has me hooked in this way like a hardcore opiate addiction. I’ll be joining you, right after one last rocket launch at 11:59pm dec 31 to set the year off right. Godspeed to us and everyone else on the road to recovery

I masturbated and had orgasm, without any porn or explicit images.

I had some desire to watch (to make it more pleasurable), but I didn't bcz of my commitment. Btw, my imaginary sex was already very pleasurable and enough.

You have 0 dedication to success. Take all the silly bullshit going on in your mind and throw it in the bin. Then look at yourself in the mirror and say "Okay this is the next clear goal, no bullshit, no excuses, no more generating nonsensical trash then swallowing my own trash, instead, this is what I want to achieve."

The entirety of the holocaust will never be 0.00000001% as dehumanizing as the belief that you are God and that you chose to put yourself into this experience in order to "experience everything."

After this one month challenge, I'll challenge myself to masturbate less frequently so that the quality (pleasure) of it increases when I do it.

Didn't get time or space for masturbation. No porn obviously.

No urges. No sex drive.

I remember something :

During a time when I was too disturbed by a rape incident, I had low sex drive and some part of me....didn't want to masturbate. When I was doing it, some part of me hated it.... some disturbing stuff was going on in my mind.

It's so easy. I haven't watched porn (or explicit images) at all in the last 17 days. I'm sure I can go without it for 365 days, if I wanted to.

I wasn't addicted to it ever. I am just testing myself.

Hello, @Candle. I want to share my testimony.

I started to self-arouse when I was almost 18 and stopped at 27. I tried to quit for many years.

I have quit watching regular pornography although it never arose me that much.

I stopped self-arousing for 11 months now.

What are the issues now?

When I am asleep I sometimes get wet dreams. When I am half-asleep I find myself thinking about sexual fantasies.

The benefits:

I find myself not thinking about sex alot, however I still get the triggers a man has when looking at a woman.

I have much more freedom from the habitual pattern of thinking about sex randomly.

I don't feel guilty about my sexuality, guilty that I fap, guilty that I watched porn, guilty that I had fetishes and so on.

I feel my energies are more organized, even if I don't do anything all day. I am more life-positive and I feel good and indifferent around women. Previously I felt immense shame and anxiety for who I am.

I feel more confident, spontaneous, spiritual. I find it easier to attempt and change other behaviours in life, since I have changed this aspect of my life.

I am more receptive to all the other things a woman can offer and radiate to me and sex is somehow not so important if I would be in a relationship.

I underestand and appreciate monkhood more.

I feel less desireful for other desires that emerge from quick gratification.

There are more benefits from spiritual practice and I tend to want to do more spiritual practice.

My life feels more connected in day to day and I can see larger vision instead of it being fragmented.

There may be more. But I want to inspire you guys to really persist (not with the aim to control it but to reduce it's meaning) and see the difference.

I couldn't give it up with regular meditation practice and my experience with meditation really helped.

Every man doesn't has this thing. I don't get triggered when looking at a girl. (She might seem attractive to me, but not triggering).

Sometimes I try not to look her on a sexual level at all (even if it's 1%). But on a mental level.

I can leave porn without any issues at all. Cz I have sex-like masturbation (and it's already very pleasurable).

So I won't have wet dreams. When I first had wet dreams in my life (onset of puberty), I was worried (such an idiot I was !). I didn't know how to orgasm then.

Yes, I agree, if you masturbate-orgasm less, you will have more vitality and good feelings. It's simple logic. Body has to manufacture good chemicals and nutrients. The more you lose it, the more effort it has to do.

But also keep in mind that it's completely natural. (It's not like alcohol or smoking which actually harm your organs).

And natural things can also be harmful if done in excess.

It's okay to masturbate frequently if you have HIGH sex drive, but you also replenish the nutrients as much as needed. (by right food, exercise, etc.)

I will take a challenge to decrease my orgasm frequency later. Right now, it's not that urgent.
