This is my current reading list that I’m working to complete. Most of the books are focused on Buddhism or related spiritual traditions. I’ve read several of the books already, and they have all been recommended to me by reliable sources.

Also, you can check out Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha by Daniel M. Ingram which is one of my favorites. He has a free version online here: https://www.mctb.org/mctb2/

Seeing that Frees by Rob Burbea is also a top favorite of mine.

@BipolarGrowth I think when You are reading this much material, it should be used as a secondary path to Realization, if You get too hooked in by book reading, then the knowledge is purely Intellectual, it will get You not too far on the path, it has to be second or third in line of actual Sadhana or Spiritual Practice which is totally Internal, not Intellectual and most Experiential in nature..

All of Us have access to the most Intelligence thing in the known Universe, that is our own Body and Mind, I'm not talking about thinking, thoughts, ideologies picked up from outside sources, I'm talking about the Intelligence within Your own system, the thing that make Your Heart continue to beat when Your Unconscious of the world in Deep Sleep, the thing controlling the millions of chemical interactions going on each second of Your life, this thing that is watching all the systems within Your Body and regulates it via hormones, neurological firings and neuro pathways being formed or left behind, there are millions of things going on within each of out systems that we are unaware of , where do Your dreams come from, what is producing the content of the Dreams and why is it this way, do You know the answer?? Probably not, so focus primarily on this Intelligence that is within You, get Silent, have a space btwn the mind chatter and what is You, then this Intelligence will come into Your Awareness, now You are a virtual God!

Be careful with clinging to one teacher, eventually you will have to let go of all gurus.
