Is it possible to bring a dead person back to life?

 To op though i would say that Physical death is the biggest cosmic joke in the universe.

You have never experienced physical birth nor death.. right ? and you never will..because what you truly are is eternal and infinite beyond human belief.

But if it's your ego that's asking..well..then yes that will die. Your current incarnated character (ego) will die..but characters in this dream die all the time while new are getting born..rght? You are in truth all those characters getting born on Earth every minute. They are you. You are them. And you know that very well.. only you can only experience different personas one at a time. 

How do you do it? Same way as you beat your heart..you just do it .

It's a movie where they bring the person or animal back to life but it's not the same.   It's like a deal with the Devil.  That's what you're making. 

But as far as death itself yes it's an illusion however how attached right now are you to your current sense of self?  Your past..your memories..your entire ego?  Are you willing to just toss it to dust forever?  That's hard.  Even those that commit suicide really don't think about it beforehand.

So to bring one back that is all we want...but is it what we want or what they would want?  If it's a guy that gets hit by an 18 wheeler crossing the street I'd say I'd want to bring him back.  His life was cut too short.  But bringing him back would be to have access to the cheat codes.   And that would ruin the game.  Hence the guy who mentioned lucid dreaming.  Its great but there is already no attachment going in.  The attachment is what makes everything real.  I'm not willing to sacrifice that.  I want reality.

That's just more ego.  Its ego when one commits suicide as it is a selfish act.  Trust me if I tortured you, you would mind.  You would mind if I cut off your legs right now.  Because if you really didn't care you would be dead right now and not talking to me.  It's because you care that you are in your current state and have kept yourself in that state

@Candle  i think the point is the control over Infinite Consciousness from finite Consciousness will be mixed at best.  You aren't going to be able to control infinite Consciousness from a finite vantage point because your control will be heavily biased.  You might be able to do certain things at certain times but overall your control is ultimately limited.  Now if you're able to break into Infinite, God Consciousness then anything is possible but this is very few and far between. Making miracles happen rather.  But yes, it is possible.

You have a level of free will in this too.  Otherwise do you toss it all to genetics..or God?

For example if i just sat here and downed whiskey and smoked cigarettes for the next 10 years out of my own free will I guarantee I'd be off this earth a lot faster than if I didn't.  So there is such a thing as finite will.
