Thoughts about this dream?

16 posts in this topic

So in reality i was in a hotel bed.

But in the dream i was laying in another bed.

I was in my body and was conscious though and it was very realistic.

Then a see through tube appeared and was inserted into either nose or mouth.

Where the tube came from i don’t know could be from another dimension, from something who can’t be seen or whatever.

It did feel a bit alien abductiony but it wasn’t extremely threatening. I kind of let it happen seemingly willingly.

It felt like my body was made of jello and the tube/straw was sucking out some of the jello. The jello was see through i could see it through the see through straw. The feeling of getting sucked out felt very intense.

So then i woke up and my body was quite nervous and couldn’t sleep for seemingly a few hours or at least an hour.

Tadaa dream

This is a cool dream, perhaps a dream journal if you don't already keep one. It's fun trying to find meaning in dreams but since they come from unconscious mind, the unconscious mind probably knows its meanings.

I tried dream journaling but i have too many dreams and it’s hard for me to get back to sleep when i start writing.

Even this night remember two dreams

In one i was working at a weird place in a weird building. And most of the time i didn’t know what i was doing and it was exhausting. I had to kind of fake that i know what to do in work and was scared to be found out by the bosses. So when i woke up i was relieved that i kind of know what to do in my work at least.

Then another dream a coworker told me that one of our inhabitants/patients died. This was a short dream but very memorable because it’s often shocking when someone dies.

The dream with the tube felt different than those kind of dreams though ^ that’s why i made the thread. It almost felt like a psychedelic experience  and very real without taking anything. And i don’t remember ever having a similar dream.

@Emerald any Jungian ideas?

Dreams don't mean shit . They are just random hodgebodge of chaotic scenarios that don't make any sense .they are your subconscious mind trying to take refuge in sleep to express its repressed desires and fears .

Had plenty of weird ass dreams this morning myself  .

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

Well nothing really means anything.

But while we’re here might aswell find a nonsensical meaning for nonsensical dreams.

Once a upon a time I took DMT I had awoken from this reality out into another dream / reality where I had also just come down from taking a powerful psychedelic that gave me the experience of this life on earth, Imagine we are only getting high and sobering up from one reality to another.

When we die we may be waking back up to the alternate reality ;)

Like inception? A reality within a reality in a reality.

I've had dreams where I woke up 3 - 4 times before I actually woke up in this reality, its quite the experience. I've had dreams, especially as a kid where I lived whole lifetimes and grew old and woke up the next morning. My family still doesn't understand how I was so wise even as a child, I would often have to teach them how to raise children and live life, sadly they always saw me as a child and rejected growing or taking my wisdom seriously, they could only see at their level. Babies having babies, most people today.

Nobody really ever had wisdom though. Because there is no one.

Those types of comments are useless, we need to drop them, they don't help anyone.

We don’t need to do anything.

Also what’s useless/usefull to you doesn’t matter. That’s just your opinion/belief.

My thought is that the first dream may be about imposter syndrome and self-doubt.

I meant the dream which was the reason for this thread.

There's two angles that I could see the dream from...

One is that the tube from the other dimension sucking the jello out of you, is a metaphor for some kind of spiritual healing and purging... and letting go of what no longer serves you.

Or I could see the tube from the other dimension as being negative and vampiric... siphoning off your energy in some way. If the tube represents spirituality or intellect, it could be a sign that over-focusing towards the spiritual, abstract, or intellectual and being ungrounded from Earthly matters is depleting you of energy and making you feel ungrounded.

The latter is something that can happen for people who tend to value the non-physical over the physical... and who become lofty and disconnected and neglect Earthly matters and grounding.

Do either of these interpretations resonate with you?

I certainly hope the first one.  That the center is getting wobbly and collapses. Although the funny thing is that there was seemingly never anybody that hoped anything.  Because hope is seemingly only really a "thing" only of that seperate self, center.

In the dream i seemingly made a decision based on reasoning why to not fight against the tube/sucking. But i don’t remember that reasoning. The sucking felt very strong at times. You know when you have a drink with ice or a slushy and you kind of crush it with the straw to drink it. That’s how it partly felt.

What hit about the dream is how different it felt from other dreams though. It seemed to be semi lucid and very memorable i can still kind of remember the room etc.
