If you truly believe that the one atom you have chosen as your object of meditation contains everything you need, then you will get everything period, assuming you have done this successfully enough.

Life is like a lucid dream, if you think something you want is somewhere out there, you can run for ages on pointless roads that lead nowhere and go through countless obstacles, which, just like in real life, will last until either the life or the lucid dream ends.

There is no end to those obstacles and no end to the chasing. Once you accomplish some kind of trophy that trophy could mean extremely little in terms of your daily pleasure/pain ratio a week later. It's all about yourself and not the accomplishments.

Focusing on just one spot feels like an extremely effective form of meditation for me.

In a world in which absolute satan makes sex and money completely impossible to attain in order to make you desire them to the last of your heart's final degree (see user emotionalmosquito) and become infinitely attached to them, I wouldn't be surprised if you could develop supernatural powers using this kind of meditation. But even if you could, the benefits that we know for a fact are real are integral to the human condition, they are arguably better, and they are fundamental to the reality of creatures.

"So I just focus on that one spot until I defeat myself." Even if that was the case, you would be identifying with a process who's end you can't see. There is merely the mind and it's functioning progressing and you experiencing that.

How exactly did "Satan " made sex impossible to attain?

Apparently there are 8 billion human chimps on this planet ...this equally means there was at least 8 billion sexual intercourse happening. Right ?

BTW are you incel ?..Drop this victim mentality and conspiratorial nonsense and get to work.  If you want sex ..leave no rock unchecked and do whatever has to be done to get it .

Meditation is not concentration, it is disintegration. You have to dissolve all the energetic barriers of your mind until it opens to the unlimited. You have to be a hammer, not a focus. It is not concentration that frees you but observation and the force that breaks. You are trapped in a prison made of mental energy. Observe it, reveal it and destroy it.

So all the meditation techniques that tell you to focus on the breath are BS? You have to observe the breath but to do that you have to focus.

Not bs, just beginner meditation, you have to focus in something because if not you start thinking and conceptualizing, but for me it never worked, it's forced and useless, but just for me

dharana (concentration or one pointed focus) is the 6th limb on the 8 limb yogic path, after this comes Dhyana which is Meditativeness/Ease as an Experience then lastly comes 8th Samadhi which is perfect equanimity (there are 7 different types or qualities of Samadhi) from that comes Enlightenment..so its a process for the most part, obviously some have some of these steps naturally, most do not, so one needs to start from limb #1!!!

The problem with these methods is that every mind is different, with profound differences. For me, trying to focus the mind is torture and impossible. True meditation began in a way that seems quite silly, reciting a mantra while walking down the street constantly: nothing means nothing. Little by little I was accepting this fact. It doesn't mean that nothing means anything in general, but that I want to put myself in a state of mind in which meaning is deactivated. When you deactivate meaning, the mind stops creating conceptual thought threads, they fade away naturally.

This doesn't mean that you have broken through the mental boundaries completely, but that you have gone down from the superficial conceptual layer, you are outside of it, the mind becomes liquid, fluid, but it is still limited. You can go for quite a long time without any thoughts, because if they don't mean anything, you don't need them to survive. Then you can try something else: you become aware of your sensory perception, of sounds, the sensation of your body, the sensation of the flow of reality. Is this the reality? Or are you the one who perceives these sensations? Are you the witness of the flow that occurs, of perception? So, without this flow, this witness, what is it? If you separate yourself from perception, the perceiver reveals himself as a non-existent point, there is no perceiver without perception, there is absolutely nothing. Is this nothing the final realization? No

you have to be able to bear this, because the first time is horrible, it is perceived as death. If you are able to bear the sensations of absolute absence, horror of emptiness, it happens that nothingness reveals itself as the absolute, the absence of limits implies the total, then nothingness opens up and reveals itself as everything. It's like the nothingness opens and it's full. Full of what? Of you. You are that, the absolute
