How to be like Osho?

@PurpleTree When you study marketing you understand how powerful of an effect a huge brand like Rolex has on the subconscious. I’d say that is the main value of a Rolex, it makes you “worldly, and “cultured”. The history, beauty, refined/timeless design reinforce this effect.

@Davino @Javfly33 Leo has an interesting aversion towards mainstream brands/collectibles like Cars,Rolex, jewelry, and designer, and gravitates towards the more “autistic/nerdy” sort of collectibles that don’t get you laid. This often stems from early trauma related to missing out on sexual experiences while developing ones life purpose, and it is currently the biggest problem I struggle with today.

Nothing that a 350$ logo Gucci t shirt can not fix!

Now serious...I dont think is because of trauma, I think he just have different taste. Actually most people is like him, they dont care about high end stuff, they see It as a rip off

That’s why i said maybe not specifically a Rolex but another swiss luxury wtch can just be appreciated as a nice piece. I can appreciate a rolex for it’s looks, mechanics and history. But i wouldn’t want one because its just the watch that every braggadocious guy and drug dealer etc had.

@Javfly33 Do you not consider the thousand dollar African masks, paintings, and fossils Leo posts on his ig as high end?

I’d rather have a Rolex day date, presidential, sky dweller etc. than an african or hawaiian mask for sure.

That's because they can't afford it. Most wealthy people don't talk like that.

Is that how much they're worth?

That's true. But let's say mainstream high end.

Is like audiophiles that spend 700$ on some headphones. Yes, is high end on its sector. But you can not show it off, is not considered status because no one will know those headphones cost 700$ if you ever are seen wearing them

Not neccessarily. People have priorities of spending.

I spent 250$ just a few days ago on a Balmain t-shirt and I absolutely "can not afford it". And it was on sale. Can you believe it?

Actually latest 3-4 years and I've been living on a high budget/high quality, from clothing to renting expensive apartments with rooms that I don´t even use. Kind of ridiculous.

But...I don´t save anything. I haven´t gone holidays for years.

Most people are usually too concerned with the incredible achievement of buying a house so they'd claw their eyes out if they ever had to spend 250$ on a cotton t shirt. Even though they'd make x3 than me! Isn´t that funny. Is all priorities and the mindset.

With an empty bank account I am richer than lots of 'rich' people with fat bank accounts. Some people more money get accumulate more fearful they get about spending it. Is crazy.

Is like those ones that buy a Bugatti but never drive it because they are scared of damaging it. So they buy a Bugatti to always have in the garage 😂 is so funny

what about them? I think they are a very good asset, I always have wanted to have an S63 AMG

I'd save for a S63 before saving for a house. You only live once. You can only show off your house when people come to see it but you can show off your AMG every damn day anywhere, is obvious what is the best choice.

Cars are like the worst investment in terms of depreciation compared to a rolex or whatever. Also who are you going to show off to? Nobody cares about your car. Buy a small kia piccanto and you’re fine. I mean if cars are your thing fine. But just to show off?

For me, anything that involves showing off is self-humiliation. The translation is always: deep down I see myself as less, so I want to seem more. The fact of wearing something to show off creates a feeling of murderous aggression towards others, since it seems to me that I am in their hands, submissive, bowing my head before their judgment, which makes me hate them. As I prefer to avoid such toxic feelings, I avoid any ostentation, but anyway sometimes I hate them because I'm very conciouss of their power on me, I'm not free, I don't fool myself

Why else would anyone wear a Rolex?

Think about it. The only reason to wear a Rolex is to show off. There is literally no other purpose to it.

If I wore a Rolex in my videos I would hope you guys would die from laughing at the cringe.

Bro can understand and marvel at the mechanics behind a pinball machine but can't seem to appreciate the machinery crafted behind a 40 mm dail. Cringe!
