Getting good in social dynamics

10 posts in this topic

What are your goals in social dynamics?

I took High Vibe Communication from Julien Blanc and I found it to be excellent. It focuses on, in my opinion, the highest paradigm out for social skills compared to most prescriptive, technique-based, ideologies -- I find those, and frankly people like Mystery, to promote that, which in my opinion is disconnected from the heart and isn't authentic.

I can't comment much on that course, but I will say for mastery of social dynamics as a whole, HVC was awesome.

Is the goal to be yourself or to study someone else’s techniques and try to emulate it?

Emulating someone else’s technique FOR SURE! The be yourself meme has been played out and thoroughly exhausted. Does not work, at least not consistently.

Thinking about purchasing this course.

Wondering if it's a good idea or not! :D

Geesh, after all that I hope your first date becomes your wife, or she has a golden pussy. All that just for.......(insert anything here and we'll still be the prize).

My mom and dad just said hi to each other and here I am. They didn't need a course and all these complications. Pussy surely comes with a high price.

I get it, though, because I had to learn the hard way about men and could have saved myself some trouble. I had to learn the nicks and gritty details of how they are, how not to be, what makes them fall and can't get back up, and how to not be a fucking fool. So, yeah, it's probably worth it even though, nothing is guaranteed because the women are arming themselves to counter what you think you might know. All these things are doing is giving the opposite sex, on both sides more armor and to study the cheat codes.

thats a lot of fucking money. i think theres alternatives that cost less. alternatively you can study the hell of the material thats on the internet already but you have to study it deeply, analyze and synthesize the principles behind everything

Did I need to imitate someone else to have a girl obsess over me in high school?

(If you know my previous posts to emo you know that I am doing the opposite of bragging with this.)

If your version of being authentic doesn’t “work” it’s because you haven’t worked on yourself enough.

I clicked on the link, saw the the webpage for less than 2 seconds, then clicked away.

My 2 cents: You cannot/will not obtain "profound social skills" quickly (especially through some cheesy online course). I believe you would be GREATLY better served by "going out and building your skills yourself" rather than believing some $1000 course will "transform" you. Would the course help/speed up the process?.....perhaps, but again, I believe you would be better off taking that same $1000 and investing it on "days/nights out".

Go to raves, go to bars, travel to different cities/states, fly out the country, learn another language, etc.
