Nobody thinks Destiny is compromising with a neo-Nazi. Cenk and Ana seem to be compromising with MAGA. That's the difference.

Destiny gives no leeway to MAGA pervertry, which is the correct stance. Destiny is more reasonable and grounded than TYT, even if he has a meal with Hitler himself.

As you said, I do think Cenk and Ana are going through a bit of a stage yellow transition, and their strong stage green base is confusing this for cozying up with MAGA. I think the more clear thing is that they understand the level of development maga is at, and are trying to meet them halfway.

I will not give then the benefit of the doubt any more. They need to demonstrate that they are not just doing the anti-mainstream mind virus.

Anyone who sides with MAGA because "hey, we're both anti-mainstream" is delusional and gets no credit from me.

The true demonstration of Cenk and Ana's development will be when they stop pitting the anti-mainstream against the mainstream. So long as they keep milking the anti-mainstream cow they do not deserve the title of Tier 2. They are engaged in political hackery, not a serious intellectual understanding of social reality.

Cenk and Ana didn’t compromise with Maga. They are just trying to find common ground. That is how politics is supposed to work.

Destiny is only grounded if you define that as having a mainstream bias. The democrats just had 1 billion to run the exact campaign he wanted and they got destroyed. He was even saying Biden should stay in, we now know Biden would have probably lost 40 states according to his own polling. That’s not being grounded, that’s just mainstream bias in the face of reality. 

 By platforming neo nazis who have Fringe audiences destiny gives them legitimacy. Whereas when TYT goes on MAGA it’s the opposite, they are gaining legitimacy for progressives since MAGA won and therefore currently have legitimacy.

Mainstream media has already lost legitimacy, and it’s not TYT’s fault, it’s their own fault for constantly lying and losing the trust of the people.

Democrat politicians are already bragging to the media about looking for ways to work with MAGA republicans. When they do it it’s called healthy bipartisanship, even though all they accomplish is helping tax cuts and lobbyist agendas.

But when Cenk and Ana want to help cultivate conservative movements against money in politics and pointless wars, it’s called a grift.

Instead they should be like Destiny, who doubles down on everything democrats did to lose and helped a neo nazi expand his audience.

That’s just ridiculous.

There are certainly problems with the mainstream media, including their failure to hold Trump and MAGA accountable enough and their tendency to engage in false equivalence. This has led to a lack of trust in the media among many Americans.

However, if the mainstream media is undermined too much, then most people will no longer believe in any of the good-quality reporting of real facts on what's truly going on in our country and the rest of the world. This is a concerning prospect, as a well-functioning democracy relies on an informed citizenry. If we lose faith in credible sources of information, then we will really lose our democracy.

Moreover, most people who are low-information and low-educated folk will get very easily confused on what are the real facts versus what are not the real facts if they don't believe in the mainstream media anymore.
