Yep, it's one of those movies that you need to dedicate your whole evening for, because you won't be able to do anything productive that day. It's considered a genre redefining movie.

Thanks for the warning. I hate when trailers spoil the show by putting too much of it in there. If it’s that good can you at least give me a basic description of it in your own words?

I decided to watch a quick 20 min breakdown of the movie on Youtube and I'm glad I did. A "horror" that has to use disguisting scenes to make you wanna puke because it can't really actually scare you any other way is not a horror to me. And of course, the feminist narrative, MUH whamens. I'll give it 3/10.

I think someone needs an injection. 💉

I stopped being scared of horror films when I was past a certain age. Where i'm completely incapable of experiencing fear from watching anything, so to me, this movie provided the value I needed.

I really enjoy new perspectives; this is my number one value when watching a movie. I've only experienced movies through the thrill of imagination and exploring possibilities. In this case, it's the closest thing to horror that I've seen that can stimulate me.

@integral I don't even watch horror movies at all but if I had to watch one, it would be Come And See. Based on real events. That's the only one I'd be willing to give a shot

It's not actually a horror movie. Maybe partially, something like 10% a horror movie, 80% psycho thriller, and 10% dark comedy.

The last couple ofvscenes are literally a parody.

Just watched it with my my mom and let me say WOW 😍😭!

The part where she sprays blood like a fire hose and drenches the entire audience at the final show was just... I’m speechless. The hardcore death metal during that scene made the whole thing exceed my expectations.

Then we see her devastated plea for people to stop freaking out because it’s still her. (“Guys, it’s still me. I’m still Elizabeth! I’m Sue!”) That was heartbreaking. I just wanted give that thing a big warm hug and tell it “I’m here with you. I see you.”

Also liked how earlier in the movie that guy from her high school gave her his number and called her the most beautiful girl in the world which she later remembered and appreciated enough to call him up and plan a date. But the insecurity got to her before she could leave so it never happened. Goes to show how our minds can completely destroy every good thing in life.

I can’t speak highly enough about this film. Thanks OP!
