Seed Oil is worse than you think

30 posts in this topic

I don't know why you would eat disgusting seed oils when there are natural options out there. We are not suppose to eat seed oils with almost zero nutritional value. Big business is pushing this seed narrative.

Apparently there is little evidence these seed oils are bad for you.

I even did a consensus AI search and overall these oils seem to be healthy.

I am actually just looking into this, so hold on.

....

A very quick, basic search on Chatgpt Consensus shows that though there is some concern with consuming these.... It's not totally about avoiding them but consuming a balanced diet, and taking in some considerations when using them.

Salt, Oil, and Sugar-free diet. I think the term was originally coined by Dr. Goldhamer, the director of the True North Health Center, an institution that has supervised more than 25k people doing prolonged water-only fasting.

The idea is to minimize exposure to these chemicals that are not only empty calories (void of micronutrients) but that also make food hyper-palatable, contributing to overeating, as @Schizophonia guessed ;)

How can it be, given they're full of Omega-6, potentially disrupting Omega-6-to-Omega-3 ratio? I haven't done a lot of research but that's the first thing I'd look at, would I ever consider adding these to my diet.
