Everyone is up to the same thing brother don't bother yourself with seemingly different paths and rituals of seeking truth.

All are the same; look at the sameness in everything so that you could be relieved.

I'm living in the same Islamic tradition in Iran and it's okay; Islamic rituals are also one of the many ways.

But in their essence all are coming from the same place; concentrate on that.

@Sandhu it's okay. Ive been a bit out of it today. I could have responded better than what I did. Health isn't the best. I'll be fine but. My words are just dead leaves flowing through the air until we turn them green for ourselves. All of our words are. If we can make our words mean something and that meaning creates something good, to speak about and to align more deeply with the truth, this is what words are for. What I'm saying needed to be said, however having english as a second language is definitely something I must empathise with and do.

Well, if money isn't too much of a problem, then you can show your secret self little by little if you want them to accept you while financially supporting them.

If they don't accept you, then it's their problem. You are the one who is financially supporting them.

I thought that you were the one who was under your family's control.

If you know that they'll be rejecting you and you still want to help them, then you don't have to open up, and maybe you can give BS justifications for your behavior change. But your situation will become more complicated.

In any case, your family doesn't need to know everything about you.

I’m finding the same applies to wage slavery. It’s like breaking away from one form of slavery (living with family), by means of another form of slavery (wage slavery).

Financial independence is on a spectrum it seems .
