Key Sadhguru teaching

8 posts in this topic

8:44 Sadhguru makes a distinction between his body and his mind. Notice where he is pointing when he says his mind. He is pointing at reality and saying you are not the body or mind and he is pointing at reality.A normie would point at their head when saying mind. Where else could you be.

Of course I've seen him use this reference many times before, since I've watch most all video's available with Sadhguru, lol.. With this I think he is just trying to suggest that there are three entities at play here, if the word entity is the right word to use.. There is the Body and Mind, then there is You. With language it doesn't do this concept or reality any justice, its actually makes it more confusing, but its simple once You Experience it for Yourself.. As he says, You have accumulated or gathered both the Body and Mind, Body via the Food You have eaten (hence the 1st Sheath Food/Earth Body) and Mind via the input of data from the 5 sense organs (hence the 2nd Sheath Mental Body, which also denotes the intelligence that is prevalent throughout the system, not the calculating/survival based sort of intelligence, but an intelligence that is not memory based), the key question he raises is, if these two things were Accumulated/Gathered, what was there before this accumulation process happened, something had to be there for it too happen, what that is is what You Are...

So by creating a conscious space btwn Your Body/MInd and You, once that is established, then Suffering is impossible and life Potential opens up big time in one's life!!

He didn't say it is a reality. He points to what your mind is probably thinking.

yeah, its nuts,, but just the way he handles it, and the way he has done things in the physical world, he's the example of how it should be, how it works, jeez he just had brain surgery in March, he's back to normal go go go constant activity now, and how anyone can do the same (not with the same results or fame, but the internal experience of it, he's humble, honest about it, and many will say its is fanatical and crazy for those ppl to act in this way, but they realize and see what he is and are using it to bring themselves to the same state of experience, many fall and have to get up to do it all over again but at least they are trying)...
