Advise on countertop reverse osmosis filter

1 post in this topic

I did some research and those two models seem the best:

Aquatru Carafe
Aquatru Classic

The main difference between them is that classic is bigger and has higher output while carafe has a glass container for filtered water.

For some reason, the carafe model costs the same in the EU as the classic, while in the US it is 100$ cheaper, I assume because of it's smaller capacity. You also need to replace filters on carafe more often, because they also have lower capacity, so it should be more expensive in the long term.

I am wondering how big of a deal it is to store your water in a plastic container and if using glass is worth 100$ extra plus lower volume?
