@Bobby_2021 Syria is shifting from being in a humiliating war state with Israel to a humiliating peace state. Like you said, being near Israel is a curse.

Their strategy is to balkanize it in the long term. Weaken it and remove it of all Sovereignty.

Because of western sanctions. These sanctions complicate the financial transactions and the black market will boom will only lead to more corruption.

You pretend sanctions don't exist at all?

How come you don't have a problem with US occupying Syrian oil fields?

This is broad daylight stealing.

This doesn't qualify as selling out? Israel and US is already occupying and bombing your country's military assets more than Assad in a period of 10 days and you are totally chill about it.

Of course I have a problem with every occupier.

the Syrian oil fields are under a non Syrian Kurdish group calling themselves “Syrian democratic forces” but of course I want to see them out and my country united.
I can’t say anything for isreal because isreal has a powerful military and Syria just left a 13 year war with a destyored  military

Armed factions, power deals and corruption. I do expect at least some sort of bizarre harmony to come from this. I can’t possibly see this being worse than that monster who was ruling before.

It was some individuals who eventually got arrested. It doesn’t represent the new leadership of Syria. You can find thugs who want to create trouble everywhere even in Norway. Stop cherry-picking and look at the big picture.

Where is the palm face emoji when you need it.
illogical conclusions all around.
We don’t need an army FFS. Syria will be neutral so we can rebuild our country.
Isis is a creation of Iran/Russian/ US intelligence. We don’t have Isis in Syrian society.
the two options don’t make any sense honestly. Is this guy actually living in Syria?
why not quote an actual reporter from Syria or who lives in Syria?
what else?

These pictures have little significance given the total control of the media ecosystem by western NGOs.

Is it that simple of a narrative?

After the evil Assad sun set, the Jolani sunrise and here are the times of peace and prosperity. This is too much of a contrived and propped up narrative.

Peace and prosperity will take years but is possible.
With Assad simply nothing was possible because that family didn’t change a single thing in 50 years. They were masters of stealing and burying people underground. The system in Syria was inspired from North Korea.
In March there will be national elections.
I don’t want Jolani to rule because of his questionable past but anything will be infinitely better than Assad for all Syrians.
