This screenshot should be in the history books.

What enables this level of mocker of common sense? Is this some weird second order effect of post modernism or shit like this always happened?

Weird times man.

They are weakening Syria having made some sort of underhand pact with the jihadists.

Reminds me how Bibi used to arm Hamas as if they are going to aid him in future and that ended up backfiring spectacularly.

Well, this thing is eerily similar, but 10x worse.

Israel planning to build more settlements in the Golahn heights. No surprise there.

Stop calling them Jihadists dude. You don’t understand Syria and the guy you just posted is a freaking  known pedophile. Isreal made pact with the jihadist? Can this sound any more stupid? Please stop posting about Syria. You don’t understand the complexity.

Basically all your augments boils down to Syria is complex, noone else knows nothing about Syria and we should all accept what you say.

I am making claims based on actual historical precedence official statements from CIA.

And no this "rebel" dude is a designated terrorist with a $10 million bounty on him. And HTS is a certified head-chopping Islamist terrorist organisation. I am not making any of these up. These all are from the official statements from the United Nations, US, etc.

You want everyone to accept these people are becons of democracy and inclusivity?

It's not like they have proved any capacity for governance and being stretched thin while you let Israel carpet bomb Syrian Military assets.

How about your Syrian Sovereignty that remained intact during Assad?

Talk about hard facts here.

Seeing the axis of resistance taking a geopolitical punch to the face is nice though. This is their version of Afghanistan 2021, much worse potentially too considering Israel is going to really redraw those lines and disrupt what Iran can do in the region.

This was the only thing putting forth any reasonable resistance to Isreal's maniac genocide and you are happy to see them lose?

If Israel is steeping up to redraw borders deep into Syria, soon we see the west being entrenched in another quagmire. There is a non-trivial possibility that Putin might be playing 4d chess here. It is Israel that wants to overextend itself and it will do, and the US will be forced to support it no matter what.

At this point, it is too soon to reach conclusions. Note that these groups have no allegiances and will fight for whoever pays them more. So thing could go sideways real quick.

Syrian sovereignty that remained intact during Assad? Lmfao What planet do you live in? There was no soverginity under Assad. He was the biggest terrorist there is. He sold the country to Iran and Russia. He sold our sovereignty to whoever paid him to stay which was Iran.  You have no idea what you are taking about. Assad butchered us for 50 years underground in his slaughterhouses for anyone who dared say no to him and now you are whining that there is change in Syria?

If you haven’t been in the struggle for 14 years  please refrain from making conclusions because I don’t think you understand the full picture.

understanding Syria means actually living in it and then thinking for years about happened in my own country.

you want people to think Assad was the beacon of democracy? He was a fucking hitler 2.0 and we were tired of his shit!

I don’t care what the United Nations say, they haven’t done shit to my country in 14 years to make it better. They didn’t enter any food to any Syrian refugees camp. It was all individual effort by Syrians!

The axis of resistance is and was always a joke. Of course I’m happy to see them lose and rot in hell as a Syrian. They killed Syrians and burned Syrian villages  when they helped Assad during the Syrian revolution. They offer a facade of resistance but in reality they are a bunch of puppets controlled by Iran which I’m happy to see weakened.

I would like to hear an explanation for Iran's interest in fighting Israel. I don't buy the idea of "resistance" or that this is a religious war even if it has some religious element to it. There are probably some political and economical reasons that most people are not aware of, including the ones that hate Iran. One of these reasons could be oil trade, and another could be the pilgrimage in Kuddus city (Jerusalem), which is important for the Shiite. Does anyone have a deeper insight into this?

Good luck dealing with Israel expanding into Syria all the way up to Iraq. They are already expanding the population in the golan heights. Next they will need buffer zone more into Syria till they can see Damascus.  I think they are close enough already.

You do realize that this is literally what they are planning for right?  This is a head start for the greater Israel project. They have made it clear what they want. Tell me how you plan to resist it. Or are you okay for giving up Syria for the sake of Greater Israel project?

Isreal will keep expanding to Syria and become more hawkish with Trump. Which is why I think this will end up another Afghanistan moment for Israel and the west in the long run.

Iran wants friends in the region. It’s been sanctioned for a while and America is a threat to the regimes survival.
Using the Palestinian cause is easy PR to acquire or keep allies in the region, which can protect you. Like using militias in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen and once Syria to attack American bases or its ally Israel in retaliation to any of its aggressions against the country.
Saddam once used the Palestinian cause to help his declining optics by hitting Israel with a missile. It wasn’t successful but it’s an example of how the Palestinian cause can be used for a self-serving agenda.

I'm going to reflect it now Bobby:

Russia is okay with taking buffer zones.
China is okay with taking over their neighbors.
Iran drop proxies everywhere they can.

Why shouldn't Turkey and israel do so also? They both have valid security concerns, and its right along their border. Besides this is somewhat hyperbole, all they need is to drop a friendly government in there.
