Please share useful objects that allow for self healing and wellbeing.

I'll start with the Foam Roller 3 in 1

kit-de-masaje-foam-roller-pelota-y-basto

This is so good to massage your body that is hard to put into words how much it has improved the quality of my life. I love that little ball, I scratch my back against the wall with it like a bear and it feels amazing!

What else can you share?

I'm eager to know!!!

There aren't really "objects" that could really help me, there is nothing else that could help me heal besides more people waking up further. Everything else is just a distraction to me from that.

  1. Swiss ball
  2. Flow rope
  3. Barefoot shoes

I use those every day of my life. I discovered the rope recently & I am obsessed. It’s the kind of exercise that leaves you with more energy than before the practice. So fun.

I’ve been wearing the barefoot shoes for 6months & my mobility is so much better than before. My toes have spread & my feet are way stronger. I feel handicapped wearing normal shoes now.The vast majority of the shoe industry is a trap.

I kinda agree with @puporing that a lot of these things are just a waste of time , at least the ones we could categorise as "healing objects. "I'm thinking all sorts of red lights, tera guns, crystals, blue light blocking glasses, weird noise emitting devices. I've gone in and out on many of these, thinking they do something and then realising they mostly don't.  Most of it seems to me to be a complete junk these days.

The only thing I found extremely useful is HEPA filter because I have a huge issue with mould and all British houses have it whether you like it or not. Since I've purchased it, its been a game changer and it fixed what not amount of powders and capsules could. .

Other than that there is tons of cool fitness tools and gadgets like weighted vest, med balls, fit bals the abs wheel, TRX, skipping rope etc. but those probably don't qualify under this thread, do they?

Here are my favourite exercises to do with the Swiss ball:

-Lay on your back starting at the shoulders. Spread yourself as wide as possible. Rotate those shoulders until they are loose & then work your way down the spine to the hips. You can move side to side to really loosen up the spine & hips. What’s great about this is you can isolate lower, middle & upper spine by placing the ball under the spine where there is tension.

-Sit on the ball & make circles or figure 8 with your hips.

-Stand on one leg, put your other on on the ball fully extended & roll the ball from side to side with your leg within your full range of motion. Great balance exercise.

-Lay on your lower belly while keeping your core engaged & bring your arms up by squeezing your back & hold for as long as possible. Great body weight back exercise.

« How to eat, move & be healthy » by Paul Chek has a bunch of Swiss ball exercises in it.

The rope is fantastic. The way it makes your spine move translates into & upgrades almost every physical movement especially walking.

I gotta issue a warning about barefoot shoes. It’s not an overnight improvement. It’s training. If you’re used to having your feet squished in a normal shoe it’s going to feel very weird at first. Don’t overdo it. There’s a very real risk of injury. Don’t bite off more than you can chew. You’re walking mechanics are going to slowly move from heel strike to more of a midfoot strike. You’ll have to rewire your brain to lower your foot gently on the ground & use the spring of your feet to propel yourself forward. Normal shoes return a lot of the force you use when walking. Barefoot shoes provide none of that. Your feet & calves are what absorb & return the energy. Think of your feet as tripods with spread toes. You can use toes spreaders at home to help stretch & reposition them in a more natural alignment. They are pretty cheap on Amazon. At first I couldn’t wear them for 10min with my toes hurting. Now I can wear them all day if I want to.

I am wearing Vivobearfoot. It’s the only brand I tried so far and I like them.

Get yourself a dehydrator!

I’ve had one for years for reasons that I will remain nebulous about but I figured out lately that it’s perfect for food on the go.
I mean jerky. I make fish, shrimp & scallops jerky. It fabulous! I throw that in my bag along with an apple, a handful of nuts & a bottle of water! Boom! Convenient, tasty & nutritious food for busy days that don’t require ice or reheating.

I love it.
