is it orally active? has anyone done it?

I'm currently doing research on this and it sounds like it is orally active, whereas 5-MeO-DMT and DMT aren't.

It shows dosages and durations for 5-MeO-MALT taken orally, and I got the same answers when asking ChatGPT. Sounds like threshold is 5-10mg so I would start there. I'll probably try this soon myself so I can let you know how it goes

You should not take 5-MeOs orally. It can cause problems.

What I learned from taking 4-ACO-DMT orally is that it tends to be extremely unpredictable.
 

For example -small dose like 10-15mg 4-ACO gave me really nice trip several times, and the same dose dangerously separated me from the material reality several times, and even made me suicidal.

 

I don't know if it's due to this specific chem or ROA.
 

 

I don't know what would happen if MALT acted like this, and I don't want to be the first one to find it out.

@shree From the reports, it's mild for most people. Eating a substance is the easiest method, you just need to have a stable protocol and control the variables like how exactly are you administering the substance and when you have last eaten. It's not like LSD that no matter what roa you use 100% gets into your bloodstream.

You had deep breakthroughs in between with 5 Meo and LSD. That has an transfer effect on 4 aco DMT.

Would you only trip on 4 aco alone  I assume you would get stable trips without surprise.But that's just my assumption.

Yep, oral MALT works, but it's about 50% of the power of doing it plugged.

So immediately there's a massive inefficiency problem. For oral, you have to double the dose to get the same effects.

Or another way of looking at it: by plugging, you literally have twice as much stash relative to oral

MALT also tastes like dogshit in your mouth. Might be one of the most bitter things I've ever eaten. This alone incentives me to stop eating it. Hypothetically you could mix it into a smoothie or something to mask the taste, but then you introduce complications by not having an empty stomach, and you make yourself prone to nausea, cramps, vomiting, etc.

So all in all, rectal wins in basically all metrics.

All of these chems taste disgusting.

You could empty your multivitamin or magnesium capsule into a shake or smoothie and use the empty capsule for oraly active psychedelic, if case you don't have empty capsules available right away.

It could be that part of the chemical is lost or not absorbed efficiently when doing so.

Most of the serious pharmaceutical medicine is in a pill or capsule form, not powder.

@shree that's because you can have a standard dose and don't need to weight every time. If you put it in a pill or just wash it down with water, it doesn't matter. In the end it lands in your stomach.

Even if you could muscle your way through it, it's hard to justify over rectal
