How to communicate Love to those more materially minded?

How does one communicate the depth of Love and how core it is to reality to those who are quick to reduce it to a survival mechanism happening in the brain? Similar to fight or flight response.

I struggle with this. Does it require personal experience? I'm not talking about lost cause dogmatic materialism, but rather those who are open minded and hearted and are open to other explanations but they struggle to grasp the immensity and pervasiveness of Love.

Love is the most fundamental material it doesn’t come from people. You only create circumstances where other people can better absorber of the love they are. The more loving you are the more you’re able to open up other people to love around you. So simply just work on yourself when you can become more loving and the love will guide you to make them more loving.

This is incredibly important and might just be the only way, but often times I find that these people require understandable coherent explanations as well. Explanations that I struggle to find since Love is beyond rationality or explanation. Still, I think it would be worth having a better answer than I currently do.

If you want to prove to them transcendental love that's something they have to experience and feel it's got more to do with feeling than with rationality so nobody can actually prove the feeling of love everyone experiences it but the failures people go through in their relationships makes them feel like it is all a lie and illusion.

So they just have to experience it once again in order to believe in it again.

The best you can say is just wait till you fall in love with someone again.

You have to experience Absolute Love otherwise you aren't going to grasp it.  The only thing they have to understand is human love or finite love which you could call one of the human emotions.   They won't understand Love at a spiritual level.  But human love is very powerful. Don't underestimate it.  It can leave you suffering badly which could in turn lead to an awakening to Absolute Love.

Another way might be by finding connections because love is connection. Only other thing I can think of.

Its like the feeling a video of a homeless puppy dying being saved gives you x infinity. The emotion so strong you lose all feeling of having a body. If you are a man you might have been too tough to watch a sad part in a movie you try to hold it in but sometimes its too beautiful to not too. Its like your whole body becomes that feeling and you forget you exist. Then a voice says I love you and you say holy fk its God.

If they are truly open, a controlled psychedelic trip could open the doors for them. In a sense they could experience a sense of Unity and Love which otherwise would be an outlandish fantasy to them.

I also second the notion of leading by example. Becoming the very essence of Love can indeed open them up just by being in your presence.
