Would you say this is a very hard topic to talk about no matter where you are?

It's inside and outside of logic and nowhere in the same time. :)

This looks illogical to me.. And sorry I am not brain dead.

@Dodoster

The absolute transcends every conceptualization; you cannot conceive it. You can live it, you can be in it, but no intellectual conception is possible about the absolute. All conceptions are bound to be erroneous because conception, as such, is relative. The moment you go beyond conceptions, you know the absolute. But even when you have known it, you cannot transform it into a conception.

I would say one of the reason why it's so hard to talk about Truth if you actually have some experience with it is because of projections. Some people may tell you that it's incorrect and list a hundred reasons why. So we walk around not saying anything and find some other way of saying it. Like, writing a book in third person.

why it's so hard to talk about Truth

Whatsoever can be said cannot be true.

For example, we can say something about light to a blind man knowing well that it is impossible to communicate anything about light because he has no experience of it. But something can be said about light – theories about light can be created. Even a blind man can become an expert about the theories of light; about the whole science of light he can become an expert – there is no problem in it – but he will not understand what light is. The experience of light he will not understand. So all that is said to a blind man about light is only relative: it is something about light, not light itself. Light cannot be communicated.

This is true. I agree with you here. Leo gave an example in one of his enlightenment clips. He said that it's not possible to describe an orange (fruit) to a person who has never tried it. You could say that it's in between an apple and lemon, but it won't work. Nevertheless, we could still try in creative ways - like writing a book or doing art or something on it. It will leave clues. :)

All books are fingers pointing at the moon. If we keep on looking at finger, instead of looking at moon, we can never know it.

But without the finger we don't know where to look! I mean im sure @Key Elements was not implying the books are the truth. He's implying exactly that they are the finger: creative expression that points to it.

Why are you talking against the finger, im sure you've Gone through a lot of those fingers based on your knowledge base.

I like the idea of incorporating truth into a life purpose. Why not? It's beautiful. It's the most motivational. It makes life meaningful. I'm a bilingual teacher. In one of my more advanced workbooks, I could tell a story in some way in both languages on spirituality.

@Dodoster Well said!

I was not talking against the finger, I was saying that people become obsessed with the finger, start analyzing the finger instead of looking at the moon.
