@Ishanga i have an idea for a tv/netflix show.

You and me we go to India and test all those gurus myths and special powers.

I am the sceptic and you are the believer and we have fights.

We also eat indian foods (mostly butter chicken and garlic naan)

And we dance with pretty bollywood stars.

Doctors super surprised how Sadhguru could perform the activities he did while having 2 brain bleeds happening and severe pain, and talk about his ability to recover from this and Brain surgery much faster than expected...

Yes, it's impressive. A 60 years old woman crossed the Strait of Florida swimming, 24 hours without stopping among sharks, she was the first person in the world to do it, it is really impressive, but imagine if she had done it without breathing. So, it would be what that yogi says he did, that would deserve an in-depth study because it revolutionizes the understanding of the cosmos. That sadhguru instead of a month taking 7 days to recover does not revolutionize the understanding of the cosmos. Of course he's strong, he's not full of blockages, then his body works good, but nothing magic like stop breathing or stop eating, all in the domain of the physics

Those are possible things, change your brain waves is possible for any meditator, change your heart rithm is impressive, but heart rithms changes, same than temperature. What would be more impressive would be stop breathing, because it's impossible. Same than levitation, or other things that goes against physics. Change your temperature doesn't goes against physics

You said no Yogi has undergone Scientific testing, so just showing You were wrong on that count, plus he basically died stopped his heart from beating for 17 secs on command that's impressive to say the least, but I don't know anything about levitation or such things, but not all meditators can control their involuntary body functions, it takes serious practice to do it at Will, which all of Us are capable of for sure with enough sadhana and practice/intention to do such things, not all want to display or focus on these sorts of abilities...

Ishanga is teacher of martial arts. If you do that, he will automatically give you an aerial spinning kick with a kung fu scream that will instantly make you become an enlightened sage, since you will have died.

I mean doing something supposedly impossible like stop breathing, stop eating, move objects with the mind, levitation, etc. Not possible things, even they are difficult and impressive. It's different right?

I don't believe what he says, or dis believe it, I just don't have the inclination to investigate it for myself, that is not my field of interest, I want Blissful Experience naturally first then see what happens with life after that is done...

no, someone slaps me they deserved to be slapped back unless I really deserved to be slapped...no suffering involved.. Pain and Suffering are not the samethings, but we've been thru that discussion many times on here before, not going there now...

Wim Hof has also undertaken allot of testing by Scientist, at the least I would classify him as a half Yogi :)

You identity yourself as body and you assume as there are others. There is no others, all is within.

Only Experientially is this True, on a Experiential level all there is is Your Internal Experience, You've never really experienced anything outside the boundary of Your Physicality and Internal Experience generating mechanism, all Your senses are outward bound but are inward interpreted, but there are other Bodies and Minds, but only One Essence by which is what we are all fundamentally void of the Individual Body/Mind complexes..

We all Identify with our Bodies and Mind, otherwise You/I would not be here posting and replying right now...nor would you be with family or care for them in any way... I Your Wife and Child disappeared right now, how would You respond?

Wrong..

"

Swami Rama's abilities were tested scientifically at the Menninger Foundation in Topeka, Kansas in 1971. The tests demonstrated his ability to produce different brain waves, control his heart rate, and create temperature differentials:

Brain waves

Swami Rama was able to produce alpha waves, theta waves, and delta waves at will. He could stay aware throughout and describe what was happening in the lab.

Heart rate

Swami Rama voluntarily stopped his heart from pumping blood for 17 seconds by increasing his heart rate to 300 beats per minute.

Temperature differentials

Swami Rama was able to create a temperature differential of 5 degrees Celsius between two areas on the palm of his right hand. He was also able to raise and lower the temperature in adjacent muscles by 10°F.

Swami Rama's abilities were widely reported in the media and increased interest in his teachings."

Be sure not to check Swami Rama's wikipedia page
