Minerals in Ukraine

This is a newer video, but Graham has been a proponent of backing Ukraine because of their minerals for a while.

I heard this a while back so I always suspected this was the case.

What I don't understand is, if we knew about the minerals, who the fuck is backing Ukraine explicitly for their minerals? Republicans? Democrats? What is Trump's stance?

Republicans have been very outspoken about ending aide for Ukraine, and Trump is stuck on fondling Putin's nuts, so I just don't understand WTF is going on here.

Some have said that the war was about protecting democracy, and some say that it was about sending a message to the Putin and others that we aren't going to let them bully Europe. None of this is adding up.

You know what else is myopic? Allowing Ukraine to use long range missiles only after losing the election.

Biden administration only doing it after they lost shows that they don't care about "escalation", or third world war, or whatever. It's just a political game for them.

I do not think the administration is the one in charge of waging wars. It is the unelected foreign policy establishment. They remain the same no matter which administration is in power. At this point in time, make no mistake, dems are the deep state party who are more likely to start wars against Russia. And this war is unlike anything that anyone started before which barely qualifies as war. This time we are up against Russia, not some shithole desert countries. 

What I was expecting is if Trump's administration's Russophilia will be enough to counter the neocons.

Why is the West so obsessed with destroying Russia?

Why not collaborate together against China for example?

The West is ally with Saudi Arabia, so they got no issues allying themselves with dictators, it is not a question of democracy or not.

Seems like there is some deep rooted anti Russian sentiment that spans centuries.

Otherwise they could have made Russia an ally of the West long before this war became a thing.
